The wait was not good. 30 mins + for a glass of water and then another 20 mins for a drink. Food (mains) came out 1.5 hrs after arriving and appetizers were forgotten. Chicken supreme was disappointing however the steak was very good. Portion sizes are small. Service was friendly but we believe they were just understaffed for the number of customers. The ambiance was good and the live music was a nice touch. After having similar experiences in the past I think this will be our final visit.

This place is wildly over priced. Even for a hotel restaurant it is not worth it. Food is not bad, but also not remarkable in any sense and certainly not worth the price. Many other similarly priced (or even cheaper) restaurants nearby that offer a much higher quality experience.

Normally, both the service and the food are very good at Water's Edge. Christmas Day was not that experience. We had to ask to order drinks after the appetizers arrived. For those who ordered the prime rib, we should have had steak knives. It was difficult cutting. Both the salmon and the scallops was tasty. One of the members of our party did not receive her main course until the rest of party had finished their main course. Our server was very pleasant but seemed quite inexperienced.

We had a delightful Christmas Day Brunch at Water's Edge! The lay-out of all the food stations was excellent. Very spacious with no crowding! I felt is was a “low risk” environment for contracting COVID as you could keep at least 6 feet away from most people. The variety and quality of both the Breakfast items and the Lunch items was outstanding! For $ 45, it was a steal! There was even a Gingerbread Cookie Decorating Station and a “Kid's Station” with chicken fingers, hot dogs, kettle chips, etc. Something for everyone! The Christmas decor was beautiful and festive! Thank you for a special Christmas experience!

Was disappointed that we were pretty much the only diners there on December 10th at noon ... why would others not want to dine around Christmas... price? choice/quality of food? limited menu?

I wish I knew anything about this restaurant. Tried to find out what kind of food they serve, and to see an online menu, but there's nothing at all. Very strange for a name-brand hotel in a tourist town to not have an up-to-date online menu like every other restaurant in the vicinity. Not worth going there without information in advance.

Went there today for the Thanksgiving brunch as I was staying in the hotel and couldn’t make it home for the holiday. Wow, what a disappointment. It’s unreal to me how just about everything can be overcooked. Their toast beef (which was a brisket flat) was so dry that it was actually light grey inside. Turkey appeared better, but wasn’t - driest turkey I’ve had. Scrambled eggs were way overcooked, and even the hard boiled eggs weren’t properly cooked in an ice bath and had that grey ring around the yolk. In the end, I paid more than $50 for some mediocre bacon and cheap breakfast sausages. It was pretty sad, I have no idea how a chef could care so little as to let that food leave the kitchen. If they struggle this much with brunch, I can only imagine what their dinner plates are like - but won’t be finding out. Food in Charlottetown is amazing and there are some great restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk max. Don’t get caught at this one.

The servers try their best but the food is one of the worst I’ve ever had. It’s horrible and not well cooked. The food is bland, the drinks are the worst.

So I’m not going to lie I was very disappointed in the thanksgiving brunch. All the food was not hot gravy, mash potatoes, vegetables, turkey and the desserts were from M&M meats for 39.99 a plate @ 5 people not worth it at all.Vegetarian options: NoneKid-friendliness: No

Loved the selection of food at the buffet! Breakfast, salads, turkey dinner , roast beef and desserts! Would definitely be back Only suggestion is the buffet food could have been hotter. It was warm and didn't hold the heat it had, so more burners for sure. Food was still delicious though

I was expecting a roasted Turkey at the carvery but instead they had turkey breast roll...no dark meat....I was really surprised at the different stations they had, like breakfast, seafood, turkey dinner and desserts. Made the price more worthwhile. They also had oysters on the shell as well

Staff was great but the food was underwhelming. The bar left something to be desired as well. Not luxury for inside a luxury hotel.

Our wait staff were hard to get hold of but our bar service was fantastic. We wanted some drinks that were off the menu and he took our orders and filled them easily and also did table service, it was great

The area was very clean, tables all ready to seat . The staff were very pleasant and professional. The food was delicious. The hot food was hot and fresh and always being replenished at the breakfast buffet.
