“A must-see in Montreal! You have to try kouign at least once! I think now the almond croissant looks a little different than the one in my photos. There is no vegan option, but I would love to see and taste a vegan kouign! Maybe one day ??According to my boyfriend, their croissant is the best in the world (or in Montreal)“
“I've ordered pizza and panini twice for my kids birthdays and it's always amazing ? food is always fresh and oh so tasty. We can't get enough. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic pizza al taglio??“
“Delicious vegan pastries & very efficient service! The big almond cornetto was super delicious - can't wait to get one again! They change their menu weekly.Vegetarian options: 100% delicious vegan pastriesDietary restrictions: 100% vegan. Some pastries contain nuts.“
“This cozy pastry and coffee shop is amazing! Their cream rolls, especially Miss Pistachio and Hazelnut, are so yummy. The place feels warm and comfy, and the staff is super nice. Definitely worth a visit!Kid-friendliness: they have ice cream different flavors for children“
“Adorable and cute coffee shop. The barista was charming and offered good advice. The attention to detail and aesthetics is incredible with pretty drinks and those slices of cake straight out of an animated film. The cakes are fresh, light, delicious and the Sakura matcha is memorable.“
“Lunch and dinner revisited and sought after! The restaurant is worth the detour. In addition, they bake and use their quality products in meals. In the shop you can find many products from the region. For reference, the menu photos were taken on March 28, 2024.“
“This place is unmatched. Melt-in-your mouth croissants, amazing bread and baked goods, delicious coffee. The only thing that surpasses the food is the service. Shout out to Anya, Omar and Barb who are just delightful and who my partner and I look forward to seeing every time we go in. This is our favourite place in Montréal, and we hope you love it too!“
“I was pleasantly surprised to come across a Brazilian café in my hood! The ambiance sets the mood from the moment you open the door, bossa nova or samba music plays in the background while you select your favorite Brazilian treat to eat with a Brazilian beans coffee.A must try is the empadão de frango delightfully seasoned! They also have many different flavour cakes, coxinha, pão de queijo, brigadeiro and beijinho. All traditional to Brazilians!“
“We love going there when we are in the area. The owners are charming and very hospitable. The cakes, pastries, and cookies are delicious. We really love the drunken cookies a unique blend of kourabie Stuffed with what seems like baklava. Highly recommend this place.“
“The breads are simply delicious and despite my gluten intolerance, I can finally eat real bread, without any discomfort?Dietary restrictions: Despite my gluten intolerance, I can finally easily eat the Loaf, Belgian bread and crusty bread, without any discomfort afterwards❣️?Thank you for existing‼️“
“Lovely Parisian style bakery in the heart of Little Italy. There is a variety of sour dough breads, brioches, croissants and sweets. Coffee also available! Fresh and high quality ingredients and bread is always warm, fresh out of the oven. The sour dough bread is impressive. Friendly and helpful staff too.“
“Charming little café-bakery-pastry shop. The breads are creamy and tasty. The croissants are just as light while remaining light. You have to try the raspberry croissants - but they go very quickly in the morning, you have to be quick.Update >> My partner and I discovered that the breads produced here are significantly better than those produced by other bakeries. I bought a Camus loaf elsewhere and from the first bite, my partner asked me: "You didn't buy it at the bakery around the corner, did you?"...So warning: if you get used to the quality of the products of this bakery, well... Too bad for the other bakeries!“
“Very beautiful pastry! Thank you very much Mr. My Pastry Chef UDSON for this great Valentine's Day experience with the beautiful decoration in the store as well as all the fresh products in store with White Chocolate hearts :) ? We really liked the Chocolate Éclaires, Almond & Chocolate Croissant and Chocolate Twists! Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate!!! Thank you so much“
“Étant nouveau dans le quartier, je viens d'essayer la boulangerie. Quelle superbe découverte. Baguette et fougasse aux olives sont un pur délice. J'essayerai clairement tous les autres pains au fil du temps. Je recommande sans hésiter.“
“I tasted all the mini versions of their cakes, and there isn't one word good enough to describe the intensity of deliciousness I encountered eating them. It's been a while since I entered a bakery that smelled so sweet. Suddenly, I was the 5-year-old little girl inside my godmother's kitchen who used to bake amazing cakes, eagerly waiting to snack on a small piece, thinking no one would notice my little fingerprints in the frosting. Everything tasted authentic and absolutely amazing. Not too sweet, not too sour, with no single ingredient overpowering the others. It was just right. I highly recommend anyone with a sweet tooth to indulge themselves and try their pastries.I have tasted all the miniature versions of their cakes, and there is not a word good enough to describe the intensity of delight I encountered while eating them. “Hey, what delicious empanadas!!!! I haven't tried them so delicious in ages!!!! I bought them thinking about sharing with my family and I ate them all! They have chicken, beef, and ham and cheese, and all of them are delicious, with crunchy dough and quality, perfectly spiced filling. You can not miss this. Next day I will try the tequenos and there goes my diet for a walk.“
“We walked into the incredible smell of freshly made lahmajoune and immidiately ordered a half dozen... Half of which didn't make it home. It smelled too good ?.We also very much enjoyed the delicious savoury and tangy spinach triangles as well as the cheese pizza's exquisite dough (and cheese, of course)“
“This bakery deserves 5 star.... Cakes are the best taste wise its to delicious... and the best thing is this the only place in Montreal where we can find eggless cake... no taste change.... The nature of the lady is too sociable, affable friendly.... and try to call them first and order and check timings... and also try cookies it is too delicious...“
“Rated as the second best place to get croissants, this place did not disappoint! The space was a little small, but it was filled with pastries and coffee. One thing I noticed was that their chocolatines and croissants had many layers, a testament to its quality. I sat at the high bar feeling really cozy, with my chocolatine and mochachinno. I expect to go again in the near future.“
“My second experience with this place is totally amazing.. the desserts they make is very yummy really!! We tried so many different places but this place is number one! I really recommend it to everyone. Very happy with the taste and great service !“
“I get my bread at Ecodep on Laurier. Having an irritable colon, eating sourdough bread is preferable. He is one of the rare bakers to make bread only with sourdough. The only downside is that the spelled loaf is not always available. Kamut bread is quite digestible on the other hand.“
“The best bread in the world frankly I don't advise you to go there because you will develop a strong addiction. And what's more, I risk running out of bread. The first business that made me proud to live in Terrebonne.I give bread to my friends as gifts and they are really happy“
“Boulangerie Miette in Griffintown is a true gem! Their traditional bread and delicatessen are absolutely delightful. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warm, inviting aroma of freshly baked bread that's impossible to resist.Their bread, in particular, is a work of art. Each loaf is crafted with precision and care, resulting in a perfect balance of crusty exterior and soft, flavorful interior. It's evident that they take their time to use high-quality ingredients and adhere to time-honored baking techniques. The delicatessen offerings are equally impressive. From savory pastries to mouthwatering sandwiches, every bite is a taste of culinary excellence. The variety and quality of their deli items showcase their dedication to providing customers with an authentic and memorable experience. What truly sets Boulangerie Miette apart is not just the food, but also the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They're always ready to offer recommendations and make you feel like a valued guest.Whether you're looking for the perfect baguette to accompany your meal or searching for a hidden gem of a deli, Boulangerie Miette should be at the top of your list. It's a place where tradition meets taste, and I can't recommend it enough.“
“I had Uncle T. last week and found it way both too sweet and too salty. This, on the other hand, hits the spot. It is perfect. If you know German Käsekuchen--the original inspiration for Japanese-style cheesecake--and soufflé, then this is the perfect meeting of the two. While they are not cheap, they are worthwhile. (I had a plain cheesecake).“
“I make it a point to visit this Jewish bakery every time I'm in Montreal - and you must try it. It's a must-stop for me, even if I have to circle the block 5 times to find a parking spot, it's worth it. Everything they offer is incredibly delicious, and I always make an effort to try out different items on each visit. The service is consistently pleasant, and despite the inevitable line, it moves swiftly. I simply love this bakery!“
“Excellent products, the staff is very friendly and patient, the atmosphere lacks a little warmth. In my humble opinion the tables could regain a youthful air and the chairs should be changed because when you sit down, as the seats are broken, you sit too low, therefore uncomfortable. Also lacking a little cleanliness.Despite everything, thank you for the excellence of the products and the good service of the employees. I wish you a great new year and many more customers. See you soon.“
“The food is delicious, the customer service is excellent. i reccomend the sausage and schnitzel sandwiches. goplana is an institution built with love, care and authenticity and that is clear to see. thank you for reminding people what humanity feels like, one cup of coffee and one delicious sandwich at a time!“
“The food is excellent and takes me back to the days of driving up from Beirut to Northern Lebanon! The kaak is better than anything on this side of the Atlantic, but what is most special about this place is the smile and the customer service you'll be given. This is as close as any business can come to a Lebanese Teta inviting you in for a bite. It's got this village kind of vibe that is very hard to replicate.“
“Very pleasantly surprised, my boy is lactose intolerant and unfortunately there are not many processed products for them. In addition, the bakery offers all their gluten-free products. I was Celtic but wow, I'm going to go back. Their recipes are truly extraordinary. Very nice “
“Brossard Bagels are amongst the very best to be had anywhere in the area of Montreal. If you are on the south shore and you have a craving I strongly suggest you stop by this wonderful place. What’s more they have many other delicacies that you can enjoy, including vegetable samosas (my favorite) Various sandwiches and other tasty treats. Their bagels have a fairly good shelf life meaning after five days. They have not yet gone stale, which is a good thing. Parking: There aren’t that many spots. It’s all about the timing. But you can always park in the mall parking across the street and run in! ?“
“Wow, what a discovery! Very good pastry! Their Chicken Corpicollo Mortadella sandwiches are excellent and well priced as a trio. Special mention to their cheesecakes as well as their Tiramitsu are delicious! The girls provide good service and are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend :)“
“Loved stopping in here. Was excited to seeBorscht on the menu and it did NOT disappoint. Being from Ukrainian descent, I’ve eaten a fair amount of borscht, however, I’ve never tried a version with what seemed like pickled beets. It was phenomenal with the pickled beets - Hof’s borscht is thick and has a tinge of vinegar and was served with sour cream on top (so they know what they’re doing). Will be back for the borscht for sure.We also tried the cheese danish which was awesome, the homemade iced tea (which my husband describes as tasting like jelly beans), and bought a loaf of challah to bring home (which also paired well with the soup!).The coffee was unfortunately underwhelming for me, a bit too acidic for my personal preference. The interior of the space is a bit industrial yet cozy, it was nice to pass some time on a rainy day with a coffee and soup. Will absolutely be back.“
“I was unable to take my coffee because of the rush hour, but after 2 hours I went back there and the guy who served me before apologized to me and I found this attitude very nice and humble. It was a very positive vibe. Definitely going back.“
“A local gem. I live a short walk away and stumbled upon this place and gave it a try. The service is super friendly, the two wonderful women who work there are very kind and seem to have a whole conversation with everyone who arrives. The place itself is nothing super fancy but the quality of food and the wonderful service always makes it a joy to go to. Avoid their cookies, because as others have noted they are fantastic and addictive. I will be coming back again and again ?“
“Ok guys, this is serious. It’s the best fresh pizza in Montreal PERIOD. Everything is AMAZIG, I often go for the tomato pizza (classic always the best), the bread is fluffy and taste really fresh. There’s no acid taste left and the tomato are like clouds. Nice people for the service, authentic and friendly. Also they have buns, panini bread, sliced bread, if you’re a sandwich lover, you can find the best Italian bread for your sandwich at home. And finally if you are in little Italy, you will find at Marguarita Italy in Montreal.“
“Je ne croyais pas trouver un lieu semblable à Montréal! Boulangerie incroyable menée par un homme très travaillant qui fait de bons produits sains. Je ne prendrai plus mon pain ailleurs et les muffins sont vraiment bons. Apportez de l'argent cash pour payer et attendez vous à être surpris par la qualité, la fraicheur et la variété des produits offerts !!“
“I got a double espresso, a hangover croissant breakfast and the rounded pistachio croissant. The croissant breakfast is messy to eat, too much bechamel, would say 6/10. The rounded pistachio croissant is good but the filling doesn’t taste pistachio as much as I would imagine , but is very good. I would like to try the chocolate one next time. 8/10“
“DANGEROUSLY delicious bakery.... we want to devour everything, the pastries have an irresistible and perfect appearance (....roooooo, that puff pastry!), unfortunately we weren't able to taste everything but we are seriously working on it. And the staff is so kind (is it even possible to be so nice?)... in short, what more could you ask for? Run there!!!!!“
“Need to satisfy your sweet tooth? ? Look no further than the folks at Wawel Patisserie! I was overwhelmed by the yumminess and awesome playlist that I will need to go back to get ALL the good food! In addition to getting my Ponki/Packi/Berliners/Krapfen/Pfannkuchen fix (making up for missing Paczki day & learning they have many names) I got Pierogis and Beet soup ?❤️?“
“Had a croissant and a cappuccino. Later returned for another coffee and apple juice. Croissant was very good and freshly made. Coffee just fine. Service was done mostly by quite young staff who were not experienced or/and much trained. They seemed to have a large selection of fresly baked breads and other bakery products, which I didn’t try. Funky location at the back street, together with a furniture store.“
“Like having a baguette in Paris but with way better service. Staff is always kind, courteous and efficient. The croissants and chocolatines are buttery and flaky and their chouquettes are like eating buttery sugary air. A must try in my books“
“This place hands down has the best bread and pastries in Montreal. I would argue that their croissant is better than a lot I’ve had in France.Julien is a superstar and I’m obsessed with this place. Once you you know about this place it will become a weekly obsession.“
“This bakery truly masters the art of bread-making! Each loaf is a testament to quality ingredients and skilled craftsmanship. The crusty exterior and soft, flavorful interior of their bread are simply unbeatable. Whether it's the sourdough, whole grain, or baguettes, every bite is a delightful experience. The aroma that fills the bakery is a prelude to the exceptional taste that awaits. For bread aficionados seeking unparalleled taste and texture, this bakery is an absolute haven."“
“One of the best bakeries with good croissants and even better pastries. The Kouign Amman and chocolate eclair are also worth trying. They have maintained decent prices despite the inflation everywhere else. We always end up buying a lot of cakes during the holiday season from here!“
“my favourite place for french pastries in montreal! the chocolatine is my go-to, though I’ve had the apricot tart and the berry clafoutis before and they were delicious too. I love how friendly the staff are and I love playing their piano in the seating area on the second floor :)“
“J'ai commander un gâteau personnalisé pour les 16 ans de ma fille et elles sont su répondre exactement à nos attentes. Le processus a été agréable du début à la fin et le résultat extraordinaire. Je recommande fortement!!! Merci!“
“Recently visited Tim Hortons and was pleasantly surprised by the significant improvements in their service. The staff were not only prompt and efficient but also exceptionally friendly, making the whole experience much more enjoyable. It's great to see such positive changes, making each visit better than the last. Highly recommend stopping by to experience their enhanced customer service for yourself!“
