“I get my bread at Ecodep on Laurier. Having an irritable colon, eating sourdough bread is preferable. He is one of the rare bakers to make bread only with sourdough. The only downside is that the spelled loaf is not always available. Kamut bread is quite digestible on the other hand.“

What’s more they have many other delicacies that you can enjoy, including vegetable samosas (my favorite) Various sandwiches and other tasty treats. Their bagels have a fairly good shelf life meaning after five days. They have not yet gone stale, which is a good thing. Parking: There aren’t that many spots. It’s all about the timing. But you can always park in the mall parking across the street and run in! ?“

Being from Ukrainian descent, I’ve eaten a fair amount of borscht, however, I’ve never tried a version with what seemed like pickled beets. It was phenomenal with the pickled beets - Hof’s borscht is thick and has a tinge of vinegar and was served with sour cream on top (so they know what they’re doing). Will be back for the borscht for sure.We also tried the cheese danish which was awesome, the homemade iced tea (which my husband describes as tasting like jelly beans), and bought a loaf of challah to bring home (which also paired well with the soup!).The coffee was unfortunately underwhelming for me, a bit too acidic for my personal preference.The interior of the space is a bit industrial yet cozy, it was nice to pass some time on a rainy day with a coffee and soup. Will absolutely be back.“

“Ok guys, this is serious. It’s the best fresh pizza in Montreal PERIOD. Everything is AMAZIG, I often go for the tomato pizza (classic always the best), the bread is fluffy and taste really fresh. There’s no acid taste left and the tomato are like clouds. Nice people for the service, authentic and friendly. “I got a double espresso, a hangover croissant breakfast and the rounded pistachio croissant.The croissant breakfast is messy to eat, too much bechamel, would say 6/10. The rounded pistachio croissant is good but the filling doesn’t taste pistachio as much as I would imagine , but is very good. I would like to try the chocolate one next time. 8/10“
