“The poutine wow! It's worth the big detour, I often stop by for work and the stop is guaranteed for a good poutine with lots of extra cheese. It's a seasonal business but the best detour of the year for me. Go in spring until late fall. ??Worth the effort?? Parking: It is easy to access, I order takeaway but there is always room, limited space to eat but it is possible. Go for it“

“Unfortunately it's too small a place to eat there... At least the food is really good, better than many McDonald's in other cities. Small downside, you often have to check before leaving because things are often missing. The Crispy Buffalo Chicken Poutine is disgusting!“

“One of our favorite local eateries. Great variety of comfort foods with vegetarian options. The poutines are great. The burgers are also a favorite. They offer local beers and ciders. Winter dining is very cosy with a fireplace and view of the bay. Great summer patio overlooking the water. Staff is always friendly and food is quick. They also do takeout if you just passing through.Vegetarian options: Good set of vegetarian options including vegetarian poutine sauce.“

“The reviews are true, the food and service are superior to any other airport restaurant I’ve been to. I had the smoked meat sandwich which came with fries, coleslaw and a pickle for good measure! The beers on tap were $13/pint for anyone reading as it’s difficult to find pricing.The staff were so kind and attentive but not at all pushy. I said to one of them, I feel at home here and she genuinely replied with a warm smile and thank you. The manager, Paul was also great to chat with and I had a nice conversation with him. I highly recommend this restaurant to other local guides looking for a bite to eat. I wish they were open a little later but this could be due to airport regulations.“

“Warm and friendly staff. Very clean environment. Their hot dogs and onion rings were delicious. I especially liked the extra little touch of adding a few fries in with my meal. “The food is good except the club sandwich. There's flavoring on the chicken in the club. The fries are the bestParking: The delivery people don't park very well, they seem to just pull into the parking lot and not even hug the building, makes it hard for you to park“

“I was driving past heading back to Niagara and saw this gem....pulled a U-turn and glad I did..... WOW.... built in 56 and dressed to the nines...i own the oldest dairy Queen in Canada ours built in 54 and seeing this makes me think I have a lot to live up too.... just WOW.....staff was also incredible. I've been in the Dairy Queen business for decades.... never seen such a fine example of a historical store.....“

“La Belle Patate is a solid option for a casse croute. I ordered combo #2 which consisted of two steamed dogs and a small poutine and a beverage. It was all very good, quite similar to LBP. Total cost before a tip was about $16.50 Stopped in after learning that the nearby Frites à Brigitte does not accept credit cards. Was happy I did!“

“Went in December for a surprise party. The waitresses were so great! Pizza was delicious, onion rings were a little undercooked in the middle, wings were good, nachos were ok (a little burnt). Can't beat the kids meal prices though and the spaghetti serving for them was generous! Would definitely go back“
