I go to Lionel several times a year and I am never disappointed! I have a big weakness for their ricotta and duck confit ravioli ?! If you are a fan of squid, they make the best ones that are out of the ordinary (explosion of flavors.)

The happiest first experience at Chez Lionel in Boucherville during a very successful birthday evening thanks to the enthusiastic staff, from the service to the kitchen, everything went very well.It's been a long time since I've seen such a well-managed reception, there were tables to be replaced, the restaurant team managed the group and the wait very well before joining the tables.As for food, we recommend the fried squid starter, by far the most elaborate and original with the sweetness of the pineapple, the crunch of the red cabbage and the curried spice punch of the cashew nuts - a bit like eating a Cirque du Soleil ?On the other hand, although delicious, the portion of beef tartare borders on the ridiculous: I understand very well that the cost of ingredients is on the rise, but this portion is much too small for the price (constructive criticism for the restaurant).The main courses were extraordinary, both the cod and the beef cheek, cooking and presentation. The duck ravioli deserves a special mention: rich, deep and soft, we dream of yet another bite; will certainly be in our top 5 dishes of 2024.For dessert, both the marshmallow brownie and the lime tart verrine were worthy of the rest of the evening. Delicious in every way.In the end, careful and professional service from staff who work as a team and make the evening most pleasant in a warm place with a beautiful cozy and dynamic atmosphere.$250 for two with wine, taxes and service. Excellent value for money (except the beef tartare).

The Lionel de Boucherville is no longer what he was ?. The starters were very uneven, although good, the burrata was a meal in itself, while the salmon tartare barely had 3 bites! Garoche presentation for fish and chips, you would have thought you were at Benny's. In addition to being very bland, the beef tartare came with fries AND chips??? Finally, as we were missing our oysters with the aperitif and a coffee with the dessert, we asked the waiter if he had forgotten part of our order... we seemed to irritate him more than anything else. Really disappointing as an evening, we who had praised the restaurant to the people who accompanied us.
