“Was good but too expensive, in my opinion. Poutine was very good. The sandwiches got soggy in transit back to my hotel. They need to have a better way to package their takeout so it won't get the bread so gross and soggy. Other than that meat was good I would recommend eating in the restaurant. Service was amazing considering im an English speaker. I was treated equally, felt welcomed, and respected.“

“We returned to this restaurant recently as a couple. As always, everything was excellent.The staff are very friendly, welcoming and warm. On this visit, we ordered escargot au gratin, filet mignon and lobster tail and a lobster risotto. What a delight it all was. With wine, the bill was just under $200 before taxes. The restaurant is not very big but the service is all the more personalized. We will return there as soon as possible.“
“Point #1 THEY DON'T SERVE ALCOHOL SO BRING YOUR OWN!!!Really decent dinner the steak may be under done for your taste I had the steak Frites and that cut off meat needs to be cooked a little more than medium-rare I think. I got the poutine upgrade and expected the steak to be front and center on top of the poutine but they were served separately. It was a business trip dinner so kind of like eating alone as everybody is busy reading email from the day ?. But the atmosphere was very bland.Over all of I'm staying in this part of the city again I'll likely try one of the other steak restaurants first better going back.“
“Our last night in Montreal celebrating my wife, Bev's birthday. She chose Vieux-Port Steakhouse from a short list of the top such dining experiences. Everything from start to finish was near perfection. Jo, our server was great. Friendly, well versed on the entire menu, offered thoughtful suggestions, it was all there. Two NY Strip steaks cooked exactly as requested, the best mashed potatoes and an excellent wine. Ten out of ten. A surprise chocolate mousse for the birthday girl topped off an exceptionally grand evening. Our next Montreal visit will include a meal at Vieux-Port Steakhouse. We'll be asking for Jo.“
“I visited Firegrill Montréal Downtown for a business lunch and I was very impressed by the quality of the food and service. The restaurant has a cozy and elegant atmosphere, with a fireplace and a large wine selection. The menu offers a variety of dishes, from burgers and salads to steaks and seafood. I ordered the grilled salmon with roasted vegetables and it was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and a tender flesh. The portion was generous and the presentation was appealing. The service was attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. The waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and the wine pairings, and he made some great recommendations. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. I would definitely recommend Firegrill Montréal Downtown to anyone looking for a professional and satisfying dining experience“
“We dived in here during the heavy snow earlier this week, cold and wet. We were met with excellent friendly service. Burgers, steak and veggie option were great and the wine list was excellent. Probably the best food we’ve had all week on our vacation in Montreal (much better than Keg!).“
“Celebrated my bday with family and friends on Friday night. The ambiance was perfect, service was good and the food was exquisite. I highly recommend the signature Filet Mignon dish. It was mouthwatering. It was an amazing evening! FYI, park underground, there is an elevator that brings you straight into the restaurant.“
