“I would have to say that this was absolutely one of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! We started with a plate of Oysters that were perfect! We had the Arctic Char for 2 with a side of Gnocchi and Caesar salad the fusion of flavour in the sauce on the Char was heavenly. The fish was done to perfection!! The Gnocchi was unlike any we had ever had and the herb oil drizzle highlighted the perfect texture and flavour of the gnocchi. The deconstructed Caesar was perfect!! “Been to quite a few steak houses in Montreal. With marketing, very difficult to tell the tourist trap from great food till it’s over. The Keg, has never let me down. Service is always 100%. Even with a full front of house, the kitchen has your food out in a VERY reasonable time. Fresh baked bread, great drinks, awesome prime rib, the wedge salad is perfect. Every bite shows the same temp, no black but raw in the middle. It’s shows the streak was cooked low and slow, you can’t fake that, it’s not possible. It also shows they care.“

“I think the only seafood i have tried in Montréal is from poissonnerie zeina. The most fun part is they have an impressive collection of seafood on display, you can pick your seafood by the weight, and get it fried/ grilled/sautéed!We tried the mixed seafood platter, fish and chips, and fried calamari. They're all great and I definitely will go back to try other food items. The mixed platter is a perfect assortment that combines their entire menu- and easily feeds two people. “This has always been a seafood lover’s hidden gem. Not a lot of people know that they probably have the best calamari in MTL. Rayan’s is delicious, but they certainly have the best spices and much better fried seafood there is than other seafood restaurants. The shrimp and calamari are the go to, they are crispy and super fresh!“

“I have been coming to this restaurant shortly after it opened. By far one of the best places in the city for fresh seafood from their in house seafood store, but also freshly prepared in multiple cooking methods according the a clients preference.Their menue these days blends the Middle East with Mediterranean with a leaning to a leaning toward Lebanese food.So why not 5 stars instead of 4? Simple - I do not believe that the price is commensurate with the product. The product is good quality for sure and fresh for sure, but far too many times have I ordered the chicken and it was dry. Moreover, I find that the quantity to be a little less than it should be as well on numerous items. Now this could be because they have a captive market and an audience that fully accepts this, but for me I look at it in a fair manner for all audiences who’ve not been here.So, this being stated the decor is simple yet classy and the only flaw to this is the noise level as there is nothing to absorb sound at all.The staff are lovely though there are times where some have a difficult understanding and communicating in English and even French at times. The presentation is great and the seasoning of all the foods ( I have at this point tried everything on the menu), and tastes delicious to say the least. Obviously their edge is with their amazing seafood and fish products and although pricy, they are delicious and if you don’t mind price - go for it you won’t be let down at all.Their desserts are also delicious as noted in my photos and also a list, fattoush salad, and one of the best babaganoush in the city bar none.You might also find their shrimp plate to be exceptional as well as the little lightly breaded and fried fish (forget the type), and their foul is like being in the Middle East. Oddly enough, their (white) creamy clam chowder is chock full of clams and you’ll want another bowl for sure as it rivals those from Boston.Service is very good and they do take care of you. It can be problematic when there are large table groups as the servers tend to favour these large groups more than a small table of two to four people. I suppose it may have to do with the size of the bill and associated tip but I can’t blame the services for this as most servers would likely do the same. So to avoid this a little, I prefer to go earlier before the place gets too busy and noisy - say around 5:00 pm and no later than 5:45. By the time you’re done your meal it will have filled up and become noisy.Don’t forget to have desert such as their chocolate cake, their baklava and their amazing cheese cake.Their wine and alcohol selection is rock solid and should please even the discerning connoisseur.Hope you enjoy eating here as much as we/I have over the years and will continue to on the future.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is level and easy“

They welcome the customers, open their bottle, take the orders, make sure everything is okay, bring the meals and the little something missing for happiness, clear the table, print the invoice and leave it at the table, collect the customers who sometimes have to do it two or three times with the machine, invite them to come back, clean and reassemble the tables... They know that they have to go get plates from the kitchen. There is no need to tap the bell to remind them!
