“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lou's in Pointe-Claire, and my party and I had a fantastic experience! The restaurant has a pretty cute vibe, with a dark wood interior and cozy seating. I had the beef tartare as an appetizer and it was delicious - perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. For my main dish, I tried the Pasta Genovese, and it was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The noodles were al dente, and the braised short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender. For dessert, I'm pretty sure I got a bread pudding, but whatever it was, it was heavenly... omg. I also got three martinis/cocktails, all were great! I will be coming back soon :)“

Its central location is a plus, surrounded by ample free parking, although finding a spot might require a bit more effort on weekends. The food is exceptional; I tried the Gucci Burger, which was cooked perfectly and delicious. The staff is very friendly. Cafe Solaris attributes its pride in the quality of ingredients it uses rather than its flash on its front entrance. Yes! A typical looking walk-in cafe with down to Earth "Joes" making a true living and patrons smile. You are family the minute you walk through the door. But the real reason you come is because you know you will revel in an authentic meal, whether it be a ravishing thin crust pizza tailored to your liking, ciabatta hoagies that explode with freshness and just the right amount of crunch, or one of their gargantuan salads that leave you craving your veggies. That being said, I'd still go with the Goose Basket (a specialty gem, featuring grilled chicken and Italian sausage in a fresh salad mixture..... Yes... You read correctly - sausage in a salad). The decor is not overly fancy and... But the service, hospitality, and fully fresh lunch and dinner menu far outweigh and out match any fine eatery in the city... On top of that, you won't be burning any holes in your wallet. The two partners (Giovanni and Roberto) will ensure you come back for more again and again. It's a winner.“

We were a group of 10 last weekend and we were very pleased by the service and the food.The manager on the floor was hands down and our server was so friendly, polite and courteous. We were offered extra « surprise » shoots which made the experience even more pleasant and enjoyable, we ordered twice!! “Nice restaurant with beautiful decor and good music! Why go to this restaurant? For something new, flavor in the different tapas and a good atmosphere! I went there with a friend on a Friday evening and we loved EVERYTHING about the meals! Such a delicious salad that contained popcorn (yes! yes!), tasty pork tacos and the other tapas we had were all just as delicious! A special mention to Pascal who served us throughout the evening with whom we lacked nothing and to M.J the chef who cooked the meals in front of us. I have to go back! ^_^“
“Food is great - I often visit for special occasions. I personally recommend the rib-steak with sweet potato fries.Service is lacking - sometimes it's great other times you can tell the staff are overworked.Overall - Expensive, but thankfully the food is good so I'm content paying a premium price.“

“Miiiaaammm. Best burger i’ve had in a very long time. I took the avocado burger with a side of Mac N Cheese and it was simply delicious. The service was really great as well. The waitresses were so nice and greeting. However, it was definitely very loud, but there’s not much the restaurant can do about that. There was a small wait at the door, but overall very good!!!! Ensure to go see them and thank me later!Nine people on stage, giving their all for the entire evening! VERY VERY talented band, lead by Mr Jeff, a great singer and entertainer. Iconic songs the entire evening, people dancing everywhere, singing along, atmosphere was electric!There were 3 formally trained and semi professionnal musicians in our group and they were all in awe of the evening's performance. A special nod to the sax player as well which was awesome at his trade! But all other members got a chance to showcase their talent at their own instruments and it was spectacular every time.Food was awesome and we were able to book a table ahead of time (including attendance to the show) which was a big plus. Service was a excellent but waiters are very busy. A bit of patience and everything flows smoothly.Back to Low Rider, i bet you never got so much out of your money as you will with these guys, trust me! They could have charged 50$ a head and we all still would have been more than happy.We will be back to this really cool pub for sure and to experience the outdoor terrace this summer as well. “This place is either 5 stars or 1 star. Here’s why : it’s UdeM’s college bar ! So people are emotionally invested in this bar and have built memories around the beers and poutines. Atmosphere and vibe are perfect only when you build memories here, otherwise it’s a stale old bar with no charm and too many old people. Beer and food are pretty cheap (again, college bar) even though it used to be much cheaper. Come here of you’re part of the MTL culture, it’s not a tourist spot or a foodie’s heaven“
