I rarely write reviews but i have to write this one about Basilico, the owner and staff are super nice, friendly and amazing, service is 5 stars for sure! The food is honestly superb that i can say it is an easy 5 stars, cocktails are very good as well, i recommend ordering everything on the snacks menu as well as anything suggested off Menu, the fried chicken was so juicy and tasty, the tartar is great and the pasta is to die for, the burrata is delicious and melts in your mouth.Thanks again for this amazing experience and we’ll be back again and again For sure.Sorry, no pictures taken since we were too busy enjoying the delicious and amazing food!

We ordered the 6 course menu and were so blown away by the first 2 dish that we immediately asked to switch to the 10 course meal. Everything was delicious! Service was amazing too! I will definitely want to go back every time the menu changes.

Basilico is a very cute little spot and the owner Mike was very attentive. The mussels in the amuse bouche were well seasoned and fresh. We had the welk as an entrée - it was very good and cheesy. Afterwards we had the gnocchi and fish as a main meal. These were probably my favorite gnocchis I’ve had in a very long time. The mushroom sauce was perfect. They didn’t have the branzino that day so it was replaced with a different fish which was tender and soft but the portion was a bit too small for the price. We had a wonderful cappuccino to finish the lovely night.

We moved here one year ago but only recently felt comfortable exploring the dining options in our area. We admittedly never paid much attention to Basilico because we assumed it was an Italian express, fast-food-type joint. Boy were we wrong. One of the freshest, most attention-to-detail, meals we’ve had in all of Montréal. One week between meals and the food quality was still spectacular and original, service excellent and we’ve always left both satisfied and awed, even with our 6 year old daughter! Looking forward to becoming regulars.
