Monday evening August 21, 2023Had a drink at this place…never again. Unable to be served in French…. TOTALLY shameful.Quickly a complaint to the office of the French language. This is truly unacceptable!!!

I’ve been to this establishment at YUL AIRPORT twice and both times it’s been a terrible experience. First time was for a smoked meat sandwich which was gross as the waitress prepped my sandwich with her hands that she had just touched the cash and cash register with…not sanitary at all and further more they grilled it with pickles inside that were wilted and sloppy. Second experience was for a simple coffee, rude waitress that didn’t speak French which is an official language however she replied rudely that she didn’t speak French, so I spoke to her in English and to my dismay she didn’t speak English EITHER!! Wow! I was speachless as I speak four languages however none that this waitress spoke. Ohhh and let me not forget that I was waiting at the order counter for 15 min before even being acknowledged. Terrible

The clerk does not speak or understand French. For $75, two cold club sandwiches, two filthy smoked salmon bagels, two bottled drinks and an iced coffee consisting of hot coffee and ice. Never again.

May 2023.I quite liked what we had here. A simple sandwich and coffee. Normal airport prices. Nice atmosphere to sit and relax before our fight departure.

They have Starbucks beans and unfortunately i don’t drink cheap coffee. I was expecting a little more than Brulerie Saint Denis. Beans are dry and tasteless.

I was here for an espresso and a macchiato on Sept 7, 2019. I have coffee in many places with a variation from great to bad. I've had coffee at the Brûlerie before and went based on previous experience being good. On this occasion it was horrendous. It was extremely bitter and could not drink it. The machine more than likely needed to be descaled, but no one had. First time in my life I went to the counter to tell them it was so bad I could not drink it. All the guy said was OK. Please clean your machine and clean out or teach your guy how to talk to customers. A bad coffee is only 4.00 dollars. My story will reach many ears.
Good coffee that’s roasted on the spot if I’m not mistaken. We just took it black and it was good enough, didn’t really need anything else added to it. They also had these great almond croissants that are worth a try.

Paid for takeout. I paid with credit card and normally you do not tip because i was not eating on premises. Paid with credit card; however, the system would not allow me to leave 0 tip. I was forced to pay a tip.
