Unable to serve customers in French… at the airport of a French-speaking city. Ashamed.

Starbucks in Montreal at A concourse is the worst! Starbucks should give the same training to airport staff. Ruining the reputation of Starbucks in general is insane. Staff has no respect, drink tastes completely different, lack of customer service and training. Today i wasted my money and my time waiting for a drink that apparently was my fault. I’m a lactose intolerant and the cashier didn’t charge me for the milk and keep delaying my drink and about to miss my flight. It takes less than a minute to make a drink infact u can make 3-4 drinks in 60seconds if you are well trained and not to argue with customer. I left without my drink.

I fly a lot, and need my caffeine fix. One of the employees I see regularly is Farid. He always takes care of me, he always waits for me to take my first sip and asks “how is it?” You can tell he loves his job and takes pride in the work that he’s doing. Gold star for Farid ⭐️

I don’t think people understand that this is an airport. They are affiliated with the airport and is considered not an official Starbucks.Whatever the airport wants for change as an ex: no plastic cups, they have to go with it. I find that it sucks that people get so offended with their carton cups. It is not the workers fault. And most of the times, they are low in stock.. of course, it is a busy area. You have people flying in and out all the time. And the workers and managers only support themselves. Nobody has their back.Starbucks 84 and 74 has my heart. These morning workers work so hard and try their best. Idk about the other Starbucks at the airport but USA Starbucks in the morning has the best staff.I feel sorry for them for having to deal with so much shenanigans in the morning. If you don’t like it, order somewhere else for coffee. (Not being rude, just being real) they deal with long line ups everyday!!!!!Despite the long line up, they still manage to put up a customer service connection. It might not be the best but they do.

I go to Starbucks all the time and had a rlly bad experience here. They double charged me and forgot an item in our order. One of the girls working asked what sweetener I wanted in my matcha and I said whatever it comes with is fine, to which she didn’t reply. I taste my matcha and it tasted like she dumped an entire litre of sweetener in it. I get matchas all the time from Starbucks, I consider myself a connoisseur of sorts, but this one was so sweet it was literally disgusting and I could not drink it (no exaggeration). Then, when I asked for the cake pop that I paid for they gave it to me and I’m pretty sure they made fun of me as I walked away?? Honestly absolutely awful experience here. I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I just really had to get that off my chest.

Had a very good latte and little egg pucks made with ham and cheese. The coffee is really good and you can get a nice strong one if that’s what you like. They also have a good selection of breakfast sandwiches.

I think it is a different starbucks it is the one near gate 73. I was headed for a flight to Costa Rica. I want to say the staff were rude and laughed at me for ordering a bagel with avocado spread and two cheese sticks. There were four staff, 1 female, two wimpy looking males and a supervisor. The supervisor was a fat, purple haired, queer who was too confused to realize he was a male. Literally a gay guy, and he mocked my order when I was just out of earshot so I couldn't hear what was said but me being a strong masculine male who is not gay, I usually get garbage service from the lgbtq community. I would have inquired to what he was laughing about and probably punched his face in but I was headed a flight out of Montreal YUL. You are working customer service, I don't care how garbage your life is, you act professional and courteous with all customers. I would never laugh or mock someone I am serving because I am professional. I find the lgbtq etc community don't wish equal rights but want to be priveleged. Any starbucks person reading this please act professional.

On the USA side at the airport, if you have 3 hours of travel and 10 people in front of you, forget about going to TIM. The employees are extremely slow and more often on their cell phones than serving customers. 5 customers in front of me and 5 employees, it took 30 minutes to serve me. I got some lattes and he filled my entire glass with lukewarm milk and finished with milk from his cold container. Big poster of points but says not to have the machine to take them but I had it in front of me. This is the 3rd time I've had coffee at this Starbucks and the last. Does not take the point app.

I ordered lactose free drink, cold, but when I got to half of it , noticed chunks of milk. Because of that won't have the rest for my work... Very disappointed when you pay $$$Dietary restrictions: Multiple milk choices but make sure they use it.

SUPER SLOW! I was waiting 45 minutes to order two coffees with milk and I was 5th or 6th in the line. It was another 10 minutes wait to get the coffees, and they simply forgot to add milk and the cups were topped up. Had I known how slow they are I would have never gone there.

Absolutely worst Starbucks I’ve been to. The only thing my dad drinks from sb is the lemonade as he doesn’t like coffee or tea. I asked the server, after a very long wait, for a grande lemonade. He looked at me strange and said they didn’t serve lemonade. I could clearly see the pitcher of lemonade behind him and said yes you do and pointed. He said he could put lemonade with one of the refreshers such as strawberry or dragonfruit. I told him I just wanted straight lemonade in a cup with ice. He finally called over another barista who was doing nothing to help the lineup or make drinks and she told him that they do indeed serve lemonade… he doesn’t even know their own menu. I then ordered my drink, a venti iced matcha latte. This location uses paper cups and lids for both hot and cold drinks as an environmental initiative. He then picked up a VENTI cup and told me he could not make an venti iced drink, but he could make it hot. First of all, I don’t drink hot drinks, second, he had JUST grabbed the exact same cup for the lemonade? (Even though I clearly asked for a grande…) which is an iced drink as well? Why would he be able to make one iced drink in that cup but not a different one? The lady in front of me ordered a frappe and had it in that cup. I told him I did not want a hot drink. I asked him why he could not make the iced drink in that cup. He just stared at me, clearly confused, and then said okay and continued. This was at the Montreal airport in Quebec, but I really don’t think this guy spoke any French (based on interactions I saw with other customers) and he clearly did not understand English that well based on our interaction. If you’re going to hire someone at an airport in a predominately french speaking province, to do a customer service job, they should at least be fluent in English, hopefully with some basic french too. The drinks tasted terrible by the way. My matcha had zero sweetener and tasted extremely watered down. The lemonade theoretically should be the same across locations as it’s pre-made but my dad said his tasted off too. They also put barely any ice in both drinks. Mine even tasted warm. Terrible service and drinks, would probably give a zero if I could!!!

The cashier doesn't speak French and doesn't seem to understand any orders. Service is very slow even if there's only 1 or 2 people in line; 4 staff members trying to do one single drink. Ended up not getting the right drink either :(
