Pretty hotel, nice enough staff, not great location for shopping and eating, lots of history. My gripe....they gave away our prepaid rooms and then refuse to refund us the night. We paid for three rooms, for three nights each, and as was the pre-plan, we showed up the morning after the first night....finding out they gave away the rooms. When we checked out, the third day, we were told that we would only be charged for the two nights, DUH!!, but they refuse to refund the first night.

Charming hotel. Highly recommend for romantic getaway with your partner. Make your Dinner reservation at the in house restaurant before you arrive. We weren’t able to eat there. The local restaurants are not bad but most of them are typical (Pastas, Hamburgers, Pizza). We really wanted to eat Dinner at the Hotel restaurant. Breakfast time wasn’t an issue and the food is amazing.

A charming and well-situated hotel in Quebec's Old City. Our guestroom, while small (approx. 20 SM) was modern, cozy and well-furnished with tasteful fixtures, ample closets, an elegant minibar. A single window overlooked Rue St.Paul, the narrow thoroughfare of galleries, shops and restaurants for which the neighborhood is admired. Service that we received was impeccable, from the staff tending to room services; the concierge who advised on sightseeing and restaurant bookings; to the attendant who parked our car. The hotel lies adjacent to the Musee de la Civilisation designed by the architect Moshe Safdie, as well as a waterfront park along the harbor where fireworks are twice weekly displayed.

Really great experience from check in to check out. My wife and I just returned from this wonderful hotel where we stayed in a Luxe King Bed Terrace room from 8/25-8/29. Hotel has all the modern finishes encased in a classical historic design. Food was excellent at the on site restaurants. Shower and bedding were top notch. Staff was very professional and extremely helpful. Location was within walking distance to top restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend and would stay here again without hesitation.

From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the staff here is just amazing. The property exudes quiet luxury everywhere. This is one of the best Amex FHR properties we’ve stayed at. We visited during a quiet few nights, and received a lovely upgrade, much appreciated as it was our 30th wedding anniversary. The food from Chez Muffy & Bar Artefact were amazing. The location is just perfect close to the river and the historic areas. We felt the city was just amazingly clean and safe. Lots of food options and price points for all budgets nearby. One of our favorite activities was a visit to the Strom Nordic Spa just a 15-20 minute walk away. We will be returning to this fabulous Relais & Chateaux property for many years to come.

We had a beautiful room, well appointed overlooking a pretty courtyard. Very comfy bed -- had the best sleeps! Staff so gracious, accommodating. Room amenities always replenished. Loved the location, bar and restaurant. Always felt like coming home after a day's touring.

Obviously the building itself is charming - as is the entire darn city for that matter. But what sets this hotel apart is the staff. Welcoming, helpful, and provide the little touches that change a stay from pleasant to exceptional. Breakfast was phenomenal. Received a room upgrade at check in (booked with AmEx FHR) that exceeded any expectation we might have had. Would go back again without hesitation.

Auberge Saint-Antoine has unparalled customer service. The rooms are well apointed, the beds are of good quality and the room service was prompt and impressive. The hotel is located in a quiet but centrally located area. It was easy to walk to a variety of restaurants. We enjoyed the free concert and fireworks that are offered in August at the riverfront. We would end our night at the Artefact cocktail lounge for a nightcap. The bartenders were terrific and the drinks were made with attention to detail . I would definitely recommend Auberge St Antoine.

We had a fantastic 4 night stay here. Staff are incredibly friendly, breakfast perfectly delicious & location superb. This was our first time visiting Quebec & if we go back, we will stay here again. Arturo did a great job on our room & we had a great chat with him. What a wonderful home away from home.

We loved our stay at Auberge Saint-Antoine! The location, amenities, service, and restaurants were all phenomenal. We participated in the walking tour, which was EXCELLENT and super informative and interesting - highly recommend. Our bed was comfortable and the turn-down service was top-notch, making our stay just that much more special. Thank you to the staff!

Well-earned reputation as one of the best hotels in Canada. Great location in old Québec City. Attractive, well equipped rooms and nice bar and restaurant. But staff was what made our stay special. Everyone was friendly and very helpful, going above and beyond. We were surprised to learn the hotel has its own 98-seat movie theatre, chose a movie from the available options and enjoyed a private showing with popcorn provided!

If you’re looking for a hotel where every room is unique, where your stay will always feel too short, where you’ll be spoiled with special amenities, Auberge Saint-Antoine is for you. We have stayed three different times at this hotel and every time has been more wonderful than the last. It is a real treat to experience such fabulous hospitality and we know we’ll return again!

Everything was done so well. I wish we could have stayed longer. The room and entire property was spotlessly clean. The room was very well decorated and supplied with an array of glassware. I usually do not use hotel coffee makers but they had Nespresso, so I made an exception. Additionally, the location was exactly where we wanted to be.

I stayed at The Frontenac last time, and while that is fun to do once, Auberge Saint Antoine is by far my preference. I loved everything about this Inn! I stayed with my teenage daughter and we had a great week exploring Quebec City. The decor and facility are interesting and comfortable, the service is top notch, and the location is great in the Lower Town by the ferry, restaurants and shops. Frantz, the concierge, is very helpful. The front desk and other service team members, especially Mathieu, were always helpful and responsive. The gym is the nicest gym I’ve seen in a hotel in a long time. We slept really well in the comfortable beds and quiet Inn and loved the layout of the bathroom for two people. The only bad part was leaving! I would definitely stay here again.
