I have been eagerly awaiting the chance to try this place. 5 times I have tried unsuccessfully to dine there. 5 times, problems would arise at the last minute at the restaurant making impossible for us. As luck would have it, tonight was the night! But alas, despite the 3 empty tables, we had to wait 30 minutes to be sat because they were “too busy”.Fine. Waited patiently, all the while being very weary that something would “happen” again.Half an hour later, sure enough those same tables were empty but we were allowed to be seated. We got the shareable halibut bites, my boyfriend got the fish and chips and I got the pan seared halibut with bacon and artichokes.The halibut bites were food, mind you three as a sharable is a bit strange and the sauce was inaccessible due to the serving bowl.My pan seared halibut was good, but I was craving some sort of bun or carb that could take the saltiness out of my mouth.Overall, cute little place if you’re not in a hurry. First date kind of place.Chef/owner Gabriel pays good attention to his clientele.

What a hidden gem! The food here is exceptionally well done; a high-end restaurant without the typical pretentious prices or atmosphere.We were met immediately by the chef/owner and immediately felt his passion for his craft, which reflected perfectly in his food.The flavor profiles were bang on, making every dish an absolute pleasure to the senses, and the evening an absolute delight.The presentation was impeccable, carefully placing attention to every detail.The atmosphere was cute and cozy with a subtle charm without being in your face.I am not typically impressed, but I would most definitely recommend this place for any discerning and critical foodie.It's a must try!

Each dish was better than the next. Nothing too heavy or too light, too out there or too basic. Every bit of meat perfectly cooked, every vegetable the right counterpoint of acid and juice. The mains were just as good if not better than the apps, and it would have been worth the whole price just for the desserts.

Incredible fish & chips! The staff had smiles the entire time we were in there, and the service was excellent. The chef was out and about. The ambience was cozy and casual. The price was right. A perfect dinner with my daughter, couldn't ask for anything more!
