I went to dinner with my 15 year old grandson who I am introducing to the different cuisines of the world. We have adored. We had a generous sampling of several dishes prepared for us. Everything was perfect and all at a very affordable price. In addition, the service was professional and friendly. I'll go back there for sure.

The place is very clean, nice and they welcome people, however the food sucks.. the chicken was too crispy (they fried the chicken too much that it has been said) the vegetable was not good (it started if) the swos beans was very watery (they don't blend the beans well, they serve it with all the straws of the beans).. for a restaurant that is well presented like this, I thought the food was good, but unfortunately the food is not good.. s'il vous plaît fire the chef (fire the cooks.. please put more effort into the foodthank you

The food is excellent. A new administration, new team in the kitchen. A new start.

Under new management..Wow totally impressed by the quality of the food, super fast and friendly service !!! Their fritay night on Fridays? A must! Acras and Marinades are to die for, the pork is juicy and tender and the portions are Oh so generous! Keep it up Flamboyant:)

I don't know where to start. When the restaurant opened, we were happy to have a Haitian restaurant next to us! We have encouraged this restaurant several times and we were satisfied with the service and the food! Then one day my spouse ordered a family portion, a disaster! The rice was not good and the rest of their order too. We brought back our dishes and we stopped going to eat there despite being 30 seconds from the restaurant! We prefer to go to Ottawa. Yesterday, my mother wanted a dish and I didn't have the car, despite my advising her against it, she still wanted to go. I told myself that over the years they have surely improved. A lady greets us and gives her our order, a gentleman appears and makes a plate. We had to guess it was for us. No hello and a contempt towards us. I was also going to get a plate but I changed my mind. My mother didn't like it, and she had diarrhea after consuming the food... it disappoints me pcq in the beginning it was good, I come from mtl and I know the only reason why they are still open is that there is not a lot of Haitian restaurant in the area. It's sad.

Be careful, do not underestimate your appetite! The portions are huge! It's really very good. The spices are interesting. We are full. A large portion is enough for 3 adults.

The griot is delicious and so tasty!!! Best griot in Gatineau! Very happy to have discovered this place

The djondjon rice (black rice) was really really dry and they give barely any sauce to help out with that, the plantain were as dry as well and tasteless but the meat was okay. Wouldn't buy there again or recommend to be honest.

Delicious! It's been such a long time since I ate Haitian food! And I was not disappointed! I brought my boyfriend and my grandmother there and they loved it too. I recommend the Griot, you will be surprised how tasty the meat is!I tried the chicken and was pleasantly surprised by the slightly sweet taste. And the Pikliz is really a must if you like coleslaw, but be careful it's spicy! The Acras are better than at Rituel (the wizard golf club) and the fries are crispy. If you are still hesitant, go try and adopt you!The service was still fast, it's a family business, you can see his wife behind the kitchen and his son at the cash register, they are all very warm and welcoming!
