We didn't get the food but everyone seemed very content with their meals/apps, the service was impeccable I would give the service 10 stars if I could, and the atmosphere was the best part of it all, everyone was so sweet, bilingual, and so professional. The ticket fee was only 20 a person for NYE which is so affordable AND worth it (they provided live music, crowns and champagne). If I could recommend this place to everyone on Earth, I would. 10/5.Parking: Wide open, free parking behind the place and also street parking.Kid-friendliness: Lets anyone in who is willing to follow rules - very strict on IDs, which I appreciate

It's now an Italian restaurant (the name escapes me). Super nice terrace on the water's edge, although a little noisy because of Jacques-Cartier, but pleasant all the same. They have absolutely no variety of beers (only 3 kinds in bottle) and none on tap. Very disappointed with this, because we had arrived earlier for the aperitif. The waitress knew very little about the menu, and couldn't even give me a wifi password (this place seems to be a "dead zone" for Bell Mobility customers). The pizza was still very good.

Our waiter, Lucas, was incredible… great service and lots of humor! Added so much to an absolutely fabulous meal! Never expected such good Italian food in Canada… Don’t miss this place with a grand view of the river.

Made reservation for Latin Saturday a week ago, called to ensure all good for the evening was told yes. Got there, they didn’t have my reservation, didn’t even care! No attempt to fix it just a shoulder shrug! One young bouncer super RUDE! Asked the old man that watches the cameras if it would be ok to place my drink on the counter he said ok, Placed my drink there just to be told by bouncer no can’t! Went outside to smoke, sat in chair same bouncer again No can’t be there! Then told that if I back talk I would not be allowed back into the club! Ridiculous! So I left, I luv Latin dancing but the staff in this place is SUPER RUDE!!! No voy volver. Si pudiera dar ninguna Estrella lo daria!

Good service! But the food sucks! Worst steak I’ve ever had ask for medium and was almost raw meat and my wife ask for well done and was medium rare….the meat taste like cheap old meat ! the french fries look like they were cook in the microwave. Cost me a hundred dollars and we didn’t even eat half of the plate told them it was bad they never offer to take anything of the bill!! DON’T GO THERE!!

We have gone several times and we had not had any problems before the pandemic but yesterday we saw how clearly this place had changed administrators. We were at a night event and the organizers were impeccable with their presentations but I saw how the administration of the disco has no idea of customer service. the bartender literally demanded a tip to the point that he threatened customers with not serving anymore if they didn't tip her. The waitresses argued over tables ownership and customers, the administrator came out of the office in shorts many times and flip-flops only to demand that the waitresses to move clients away from tables and put reserved signs for imaginary customers. They literally require you to consume a 200 bottle or get up from a table even if you are drinking beer with a 20CAD cover paid. We were going to consume and spend without problem but the client should not be required or pressured and tips are earned not required. I no longer recommend this site. Gatineau and Ottawa need a new Disco.

Great ambience. New owners go the extra mile to ensure an enjoyable outing. The meat lovers pizza is very tasty, not doughy, and I always order on each visit. 5 Coronas in an ice bucket is a great deal. The fish n chips wasn't all batter. One can actually taste the fish, and it was a hearty morsel. We were inconvenienced a bit with a large crowd of youngsters there for shots before their cruise on the river, we saw the ship filling up on the way out, but the manager/owner made it right by us with complimentary cognacs, and a move to a quieter spot. Definitely a must visit dining out, with great patio views of sunsets. Building gives off a New Orleans type look from the outside, especially when lit up at night. Hopefully such a theme will be introduced.Parking: Parking not at restaurant, but is a short minute walk away and free.

Latin Saturdays:Overpriced entrance fees, like really 14$ per person just to get in and then you’re not allowed to sit anywhere unless you order a bottle. Music was okay and staff were friendly; however, a lot of guys hunting near the bar so if your a girl I suggest to go with caution.

“Review based on Latin night in the basement of The Forum.”Four of us attended The Forum on a Saturday night for its Latin night in the basement club.Upon entry your padded down & frisked as if your attending a risky establishment. Lots of young, unfriendly bouncers stationed all over which made me very uneasy. The two waitresses were quite friendly, however, we immediately learnt if you need to buy a beer or anything less than a bottle of hard liquor at $180 (eg., Bacardi), you had to go to the bar where it’s lined with men lurking. They do not except credit card, but have a bank machine that charges a fee for withdrawal. And, this is where we totally felt this place needed some welcoming to the real world: “if you don’t buy a bottle of hard liquor you cannot sit at any table in the entire establishment. Every table had a reserve tag on it.” It’s the strangest restriction we’ve ever experienced, even though we wanted to party but stick to just beers. And, why bother charge us $15 per person cover charge with these limitations. So, it was difficult to party and enjoy yourself, you couldn’t rest your beer or handbag anywhere even though the waitresses selectively served beer to people they knew who were having only beers. Charging a cover to patronize your business; then not being allowed to sit at any table or any where for that matter. Doesn’t except credit card, bouncers all over? Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t revisit this place.
