Excellent French restaurant. They have all the classics and do them wonderfully. Good little atmosphere with French music, reasonable price, good choice of wines. When I have a taste for French cuisine, I don't even ask myself the question, that's where I go.

Impeccable cuisine worthy of a French restaurant. When we made our reservation around 5 a.m. we were served quickly. The meal was delicious. The same goes for the cocktail. The service was perfect, the waitress took the time to explain each item on the plate.I will return to this place.

I honestly have never seen a restaurant like that. Hidden entrance, no one in the restaurant. Only 3-4 tables of people during our stay counting us. Bad service. I can bet that the food was frozen as my foie gras tasted not that much and it was cold. Salads had no dressing at all. They screwed up the deserts. They told us they were going to refund one of our cakes but they didn't. I honestly felt like we were in one of those hell's kitchens. Please close this restaurant for the respect of all.

The level of this store is far from the store in Montreal. The water that comes up tastes like tap water. There is a thick layer of oil on the foie gras appetizer. The smell of foie gras has not gone away. Fried, the oil has a carcinogenic "rancid" taste. used expired fried bread . There are only three small slices of appetizer wonton stew. Is it for cats? There are 5 small slices of duck on the main dish, which is bloody and undercooked, and you can't even bite. What kind of chef is this? Finally, I mentioned that the oil used was expired oil. The front desk only admitted that it was the next day's bread, and refused to refund the money. I won't be fooled for the second time. This restaurant should not be able to enter because they can't find the entrance. There is no money to repair the toilet floor and let the guests stand on the tape and wash their hands leisurely.Dietary restrictions: don't eat here

Poor service, I do not recommend.Take your money and use it elsewhere.Lack of finesse, waiters aren’t qualified and kept bothering us the whole night.Food was brought to us and dropped off the plates when given.

Save your time and money and go eat somewhere else. The wait staff are incredibly rude, and the food is simply mediocre.Should have known better, as the restaurant was nearly empty.

Very slow service with missed drinks order being taken and some boy brought to the table even when ordered. There was a slip of paper showing lower prices for some dishes but when the bills were prepared they charged up to 40% more. Not relating to any price shown on either menu. For example confit if duck was shown at 21.95 which 4 of us ordered and then we were each charged 34. Leek soup was shown as 8 and charged at 11.When the confit came it was very tough on the outside and raw inside. Confit is cooked for a long time and usually falls off the bone. Not in these 4 cases. When I sent one back nothing else was offered in its place and when I asked what was happening with my meal, it can back a few minutes later with them saying it had been cooked more. Confit requires long cooking so this didn’t make sense and I did not eat it. I asked them to remove the bone and meat on it and and then ate the vegetablesWhen we got the bills they had overcharged us for soups and confit of duck. The older lady who was serving came to talk ( and shout ) at us when we queried the bills and the charge for meat that was raw and could not be eaten. She repeatedly said that we didn’t want to pay and would walk away. Then she would come back and shout at us again. We offered to pay the price for the soup that was on the paper menu and half the price of 21.95 of the duck as we had only eaten the vegetable. 11 for vegetables seemed more than reasonableThe older lady called the police and after about 20 minutes they arrived. In the meantime we had offered cash for the soup and vegetables and they refused to take it.The police asked us to pay the bills, including for raw confit and that we would have to claim the excess charge from the authorities. Likewise another authority for the overcharging of the dishes compared to their prices on the given on the menu.Unbelievably bad service. It seems wrong to even call it service. These people should not be in the service industry.Vegetarian options: There were none

I am still wondering if this evening with 7 friends was a nightmare and I am about to wake up. After waiting some time to be served with drinks and give our meal order, the candles on the dining table which were already lit, were blown out by the owner. No explanation as to why and the smoke from blowing them out wafted into our faces. We ordered our choices, mainly from a slip of paper that was in addition to the main menu. 4 of us ordered the confit of duck (one of my favourites after living in France for 13 years). Our starters were served and then our mains started arriving. It took about 10 minutes between the arrival of the first main, to the arrival of the last of our 8 meals. we were all waiting for all the meals to arrive before tarting to eat. Of course this was our choice but we are traditional like that! Once we started eating I realised that my confit was not properly cooked. As a professional cook I have served confit of duck many hundreds of times myself. The meat was tough ( it should fall off the bone) and the meat on the bone was red and raw. I sent my meal back to the kitchen. After about 10 minutes I asked what was happening as regards my meal. The plate returned with the same meat on it and a lot of sauce poured over it. I was told it had been cooked more. I explained (calmly) to the server that confit is a long slow cook so 10 minutes was not appropriate for this dish. I asked them to remove the met and I continued to eat the small portion of potatoe puree and a few little vegetables. By now my friends who have also ordered the confit realised that their met was raw inside too. We asked to talk to the chef but were told he did not come out of the kitchen. Interesting. We did not want to order a dessert following this situation. We asked for the bill. When the bills came they had charged higher rates for our soups and meat than the prices shown on the paper slip they gave us when ordering our meals. The soup had been prices at $8 and they charged $12. The confit was priced at 21.95 and they charged $34. We asked them to revise the bills and to adjust the price of the confit dish to reflect the fact that we had only eaten the vegetables. They refused and the older lady serving us started shouting at us that we just didn't want to pay and kept walking away from the table in disgust, then returning to shout at us again. We calmly explained that we wanted to pay. A rice that reflected what we had eaten and at the prices on the menu. More shouting by the older lady and then the younger lady serving joined in the aggressive discore towards us. We calculated our own bill - $8 for the soup and half the listed price for the confit given we had only eaten the little portion of vegetable - $11. We added the taxes and this case to $21.85. We offered this in cash and they refused. They said they were calling the police. We said we would wait for them to arrive. After about 20 minutes the police arrived and asked us to explain what had happened, which we duly did. They explained thatalthoug we had not been able to eat the meat we had to pay the listed price for the meal and then file a complaint with the relevant authorities that the prices were not what was listed and another authority for the fact that the meat was raw. We duly paid our bills. Needless to say we did not leave a tip! In all my many years of dining in UK, France and Canada I have never experienced such a "service" in a restaurant. I even think it is inappropriate to use "service" in the same sentence as this restaurant.

The whole experience was underwhelming. It started off with the waitress lighting our table candles and then 10 minutes later coming by the blow them out. As the evening progressed, we secured our own candles from other tables, as she never again attempted to lite ours. At the end of the evening she finally stopped by to pour our group another glass of wine, but only collected the empty bottle. It was an over priced $75 bottle of wine, that should have come with some service. The food was underwhelming to say the least. Some appetizers were served stone cold - foie gras should not be served as a frozen congealed block. Mains were not as advertised, and food allergies were either either forgotten or simply ignored. The duck in the duck confit was either undercooked (rare) or overcooked, Never did it fall off the bone as it should with duck confit. When a few at the table complained, The manger and cook insisted that there was not any thing wrong with the preparation of the meal. There was no effort to make things right other than to re heat these meals and to cover the duck with heavy sauce. When they insisted on some sort of price reduction for only these meals, the rude waitress called the police accusing us of not paying. All but two had paid the complete bills, the others were waiting for an adjusted bill. Now as for the bills, they were all wrong. The price charged were not the price listed on the menus. The waitress insisted that the bills were correct and no adjustments were offered or made. The Police advised us the file a complaint prices and for the two diners who had not yet settled the bill to pay it in full. We will never return to this restaurant.
