“Great place with great food and amazing atmosphere.Reminds me of European streets. Luckily, for us, while we were eating, a guy played violin in the street, making the whole experience surreal.We tried traditional flight, fried pickles, and vegetarian flatbread. All of them tasted great, but we loved the flatbread the most, it was full of flavors and presented well.“

“Excellent bar to dance latin music. The dj plays great songs, we had a blast!! We are from Colombia and this is the best dj we have found in montreal so far that plays good latin party music. There is enough space to dance, clean badrooms, good lightning.“

“I found the atmosphere to be friendly. The place is more of a modern pub style. 14 lines of popular beers and microbreweries are available. The snakebites and blackvelvets are delicious and well executed. The menu is interesting. I had the bison burger and it was exceptional, really.“

“I can't say enough good things about Brasserie Bernard! The food never disappoints, the ambiance is "chaleureux" and the service always attentive, friendly and professional. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Montréal and there is zero pretension!“

“Great burger, nice staff and good beer! I Laos really liked that you could pay at the table using QR code, made it really easy and also simple to split the bill.Dec 2022 update: they don't have the QR payment system anymore .... But damn that burger and those potatoes are delicious!!!March 2024 update: Still just as good! I went for brunch this time. I finally tried something other than the burger Service was great! I went with my kids. Not the ideal place for kids (no kids menu or anything), but we brought out own high char attachment and it was all good. But they loved the chocolate waffles!!“

“I got the Reuben sandwich and craft beer (it's a NEIPA called Chakwow) and everything was absolutely delicious. The meat was seasoned perfectly and served hot, and the beer was brewed fresh & tasted fruity and refreshing. The staff was friendly and served the guests quickly. The decor is also inviting and spacious, and they even have pinball machines. The menu is a bit on the short end but gets an extra star because of how good the food tasted. Would visit again, a definite recommendation if you are in the area ?“

“Fish&Chips was great, batter just enough crunch and the cod was moist. Fries were tasty as well. That's my go to meal , my son usually has the hamburger and fries when we go there together. Very good as well. This time I was alone at lunch time. You can't go wrong.“

“Boswell is a solid brewpub. The food was standard, the fries were delicious. Served was animated, friendly, and efficient. The only comment I have is that the music was a bit too loud. There were times when I couldn't hear the people at my table due to the music being too distracting.“

“Milan, the barmaid, was very friendly! Cash only, but very reasonably priced, and the pool was free. In short, we had a lovely evening. The only problem is the decor. There are strange surroundings and the cleanliness of the toilets was not optimal.“

“Really cool pub nicely decorated with lots of windows along the side and lots of seating area. Two are recollection they don’t serve food, but they invite you to bring food from other locations inside the food market. They are very accommodating. You can go and see them and secure your table 1st and then go and get your food and come back. They have really good selection of cocktails and beers on top. The service every time we visit is very good and quick. The ambiance is really good as well. There were a few times where it was just a two of us in the bar for some time and other times where the pub was filled. Overall the vibe is always really good.Parking: Very similar to our review of the central, street parking may be difficult, especially if Saint Catherine Street is closed. So you may need to resort to a parking garage or try to find somewhere to park on Saint Laurent Street.“

“We recently visited from Texas, Mado was very welcoming ( Eddie from Texas) . I understand French was with my English speaking partner and his brother Eddie. We enjoyed our time felt at home. Some people on here mentioned about having a hard time if you don’t speak French, to the contrary. All commentary is in French with English song, but you’re in Quebec. Learn some basic French, you’ll be fine!! Merci beaucoup Mado!’“

“Really happy to have found this as we walked looking for food. It was late on a Friday when we got into town and we are not familiar with the area, and this did not come up when we did a Google search for food.I was hoping for more of a meal, but was impressed by their easily shared snackable options! This place is the perfect hangout for some sociables! Lots of charcuterie style options that you can mix and match, but I wasn't really in that vibe unfortunately at the time.We ordered nachos and while the salsa was delicious and my partner really really liked it, I wish it had been on the side instead. LOVED that it had black olives, but cheese was the only other topping and there was a little too much of it and it wasn't great cheese... Wish we could have had tomatoes and onions if not a little lettuce but it still hit the spot. Also wish my Caesar had a celery stick with the bacon bites as I was just trying to get some green into me by ordering it since there were not really any options to round out my meal on the menu...Again, GREAT snacks and fairly healthy options since hardly anything was deep fried and they didn't seem to have french fries, but no real entrees offering a balanced meal (just so you know ahead of time). Could see this being a favourite hang out of mine if I lived in the area and would totally visit again!“
“Stumbled on this place by accident. Was headed to the cigar lounge upstairs but was dressed a little too casual(athletic shoes)to enter. So on the way out the Pub is downstairs. Dropped in and wound up staying 2 hours. Friendly bar staff. Service was great. Plenty of beers on tap. Small in size but that adds to the feel of a neighborhood pub.“

“We popped in here one September afternoon and felt instantly welcomed. We basically had the courtyard to ourselves and enjoyed a two very good ales at reasonable prices. It was the kind and friendly service that really made the experience for us though the surroundings were lovely as well.“

“The ambiance in this bar is fun . And the decor is great . The bartenders . The owners . And the manager, are all super nice . And very great people . I come here often . And not once did I not enjoy myself . The drinks are well priced . You'll be surprised when looking at your receipt how cheap it is .. and definitely will want to tip the cute bartenders .“
“For anyone wondering if this is a good bar, it is! For years I was skeptical about this place because of its location but I was so surprised when I opened the door. You can’t tell from outside but the space is actually really nice and cozy and SUPER clean! Their bathrooms are spotless, their counters and fridges are so so clean, everything shines. I was served by a bartender that has been working there for 16 years, a beautiful lady with a great smile. The atmosphere was great, it’s the kind of bar where people easily talk to each other, we made a friendship in there.There’s only one catch, there are slots in there that can attract a certain kind of stressed people.Give the bar a chance, I recommend it.Ah! “Le Manoir est un endroit où il fait bon d’aller . Amateur de sports, la quantité de téléviseurs accommode touts les clients. La nourriture y est très bonne malgré le coût excessif pour certains plats. Le personnel est tres engagé, poli et à notre service sans faute. Le gérant Stéphane voit bien au Bon roulement de l’établissement . Tres accessible, il est toujours en place pour répondre à nos besoins et gère d’une main de maître l’atmosphère et le climat social du Manoir. Bref, Un homme qui s’y connaît. Le personnel après Covid est à connaître ….. Pierre B.“
