The staff was not welcoming. The restaurant was empty and the waiters kept putting pressure on us to warn us to leave at a certain time because our table is reserved for another group, but we are the only ones in the restaurant! And even when we left, there were no other groups around! The food wasn't great either. Very disappointed with this experience!

What can I say...The restaurant looks good. The tables are well set up. Polite and attentive waiter. For the rest..The toilets are disgusting for both women and men. For my part, there is piss everywhere and it was disgusting with pee halfway up the bathroom. There is a complete lack of paint, there are things torn off the wall. They modified the taps but never fixed the holes. But, ultimately, we don't care a bit.As for the meal, we ordered the eggplant marinara. They were good, but undercooked.I ordered the rosé tortolini pasta. It was good, but small portions. Ultimately it works...My friend, pastry farfadelle with vegetables. It was disgusting...no taste and bathed in oil. The pasta tastes nothing. We were 14 people. Many took the 3 piece calelonnie...so disappointing for the price. It tasted nothing and I was still hungry...Others had veal with pasta, it still tasted like nothing...and I skipped it.I ordered a latte, it was served in a glass with no handle and nothing. It was hot...I've never seen that in a supposed gourmet restaurant. The waiter offered other things at least. But very disappointing. It was for a party and I opted for the portovino and my brother wanted this restaurant. I should have followed my instinct. This restaurant clearly does not represent an Italian restaurant and French cuisine. This a wanna be something.Very disappointing, I will take my brother elsewhere.

The dishes were good but a little too salty. The service could have been more attentive.

Terrible service, from start to finish. Let's base ourselves on facts:- we asked the waitress to replace a glass of salted wine for us. She did it, but brought us the empty glass- the hotel table includes a plate of mussels with seafood. The waiter confirmed to us that seafood will be in the sauce. They weren't- we never came to ask for dessert or coffeeSo we left the dessert to make and asked for the bill as soon as possible.Never again the Academy. You have a lot of work to do in customer service.

We were close to the doors, and it was cold. Food and service are really good. Don't forget to bring your wine! We found it difficult to find the restaurant because the neon sign light was not on (or broken?) The parking was full.Parking: We were parked really far from the restaurant.

We went to celebrate my father's birthday as a family. This is our first time at the Academy and certainly not our last time. Although at the beginning we had 2 mini incidents (2 young girls spilled ice water on us) we were very understanding with the girls who apologized. We need to understand the current context (labor shortage/inexperienced staff) and not make a big deal out of it, at least that's how we took it ;-)the very courteous staff, we were served by Matteo L who gave us excellent service. The room was full and young people were running around but it didn't affect our evening. considering that the restaurant was full we didn't have to wait long for our meals.I recommend the academy and what's more it's a BYOB :)

If I could give this restaurant no stars, i wouldve. Avoid this Restaurant at all cost!!! Do not go. Bad customer svc, very pricy. One person in our group ordered from the table d'hote and added a lobster tail. At receiving the bill we found an extra charge (for the lobster) of $30.00!!!! which is ridiculous and nonsense, this is a price of a dish. Furthermore, we were never advised at the beginning of that extra charge of $30.00 or we would have never ordered it. Please avoid this Restaurant and go somewhere else, as very poor customer svc. I will never step foot in there again!

Impeccable filet mignon! Beef tartare lacked a little seasoning... acceptable price and very diverse clientele. The only downside is the noisy cafeteria atmosphere but we didn't have the best table, I must say!

Italian and French cuisine restaurant. Good service. In terms of cooking, some ingredients are probably of lower quality (e.g. American saffron). I don't think I'll go back there.

Average food excessively priced. Great service. $6 for an espresso sums it all up. Could everyone please stop saying that this is a school for cooks cause it isn't. It's just a name.

In my opinion the restaurant is called the academy because they haven't finished cooking school, very bad experience,

Not very good. There are better restaurants than the Academy. The one in St-Denis was the best!
