So the place is beautiful.Food is yummyOne of the few classy halal restaurants in town.The reason I’m giving 3 stars is recently I went there for the iftaar buffet and I was confused why they didn’t have any kebabs… or any meat skewers. One would expect that from a Lebanese/ Syrian restaurant. You pay 55$ and get a bunch of different sauces like hummus garlic sauce etc… a bunch of salades and some other random dishes.. everything is yummy, don’t get me wrong… but for $55 I was expecting some more meat…Second point, I was surprised to see that they had a gentleman playing music at the time of iftaar… normally people make a prayer or at least close the music at time of iftaar… the majority of people were Muslim and came to open their fast.. why do u have someone playing music? I understand the business side of things, but for the month of Ramadan, at iftaar time it is wrong to have someone playing music..

We went for open buffet in Ramadan, it was ok the food was tooooo greasy not in a good wayI prefer Lylac in Montreal the food is much better there

I regret going to this resto, the service is not professional, they closed the kitchen without informing us and they knew we didn’t complete our order yet, the waiter who didn’t inform never apologized, they simply don’t care

The restaurant had bad service and the staff were unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend it. They didn't seem to care about customers' needs, and when we had a problem, there was no manager to help—they only seemed interested in getting paid.

Everything was excellent from the food to the decor and the service. The staff was super nice. They made us feel at home. Shout out to Sylvie who's very dedicated and helpful.❤️
Quiet and clean but expensive. The food is good for those who don't know how to cook Syrian dishes, the salad was too sour, yalanji too salty and habret samak thick.

I had my baby shower at Lylac this weekend and could not have been more satisfied with the quality of the food, the service and kindness of everyone working there who did everything in their power to make my day extra special!! The food is incredibly fresh and tasty and the portions are very generous! Everyone left with a big smile on their face thanks to the incredible staff at Lylac. Thank you again!
