“Fabulous culinary experience!Went to this restaurant on a Saturday night with my two adolescents kids and all of us enjoyed everything about this place. From the warm reception, the classic asian decor, lights were low with nice music for atmosphere, the quality and politeness of the service and the food we had was so so delicious ?!We started with appetizers :- WONTON SOUP; it had plenty of « Quebec Porc » wonton in the soup and their Pho-inspired broth (chicken, porc, beef) was out of this world good.- QUEBEC WAGYU BEEF-CURRY DUMPLINGS;Five, medium size fried dumplings, filled with this Wagyu beef preparation were very tasty and the mango chutney added a beautiful sweet taste to them.We had three different main course:- SAKE ORANGE CHICKEN;The lightly breaded chicken pieces were juicy and of good size, cooked perfectly and delicious. The orange-sake sauce was exactly has described (sweet, spicy & tangy).Rice is served in a separate bowl at an extra cost.- GENERAL TAO’S CHICKEN:Exactly like you think a Tao Chicken tastes like but so much more tastier ?. The chicken is lightly breaded with a very nice portion .Rice is also served as a side dish for an extra cost.- SAKE ORANGE BEEF:It’s basically the same as the Sake Orange Chicken except the beef strips are marinated in Sake which makes it so much more delicious to me. Add the sweet, spicy, tangy sauce to it and green onions on a bed of rice (sold separately) is a perfect dish!Fortune cookies were very good and always fun to read. We had a good laugh!?If you prefer to eat with chopsticks,? you can, just ask for them, they will gladly bring some to you.All the portions were perfect to all of us.Better reserve a lot in advance because they are always full almost every night, that’s how good this restaurant is. (not open on Mondays & Tuesdays)We will go back for sure ??GOOD JOB ?Vegetarian options: YesParking: You pay street parking if you can find a spot or you can pay to park in a parking garage 10 minute walk from the restaurantKid-friendliness: Adolescente kids with adults are fine but I would not bring very young kids/babies.“
“Decent place for some Asian food. Coming from Toronto, I wasn’t sure what to expect since there weren’t many Asian food spots so I went here and tried their pad Thai. The restaurant does seem a bit dated, even though the service was good. The food, was just alright. Nothing too special but not bad either.“
“I had a poke at lunchtime. We pay at the counter and when it's ready they call us so we can go back and get it.It was a good food rating. The restaurant was generally not great (dirty tables, dirty floor) perhaps because I arrived after lunch time (1:45 p.m.)I don't know.“
“SOME PROBLEMSThis was our first visit to Sésame Lebourgneuf.I chose 2 egg rolls, fried rice and a glass of beer. My girlfriend asked for the same thing as me, without the eggs (she is vegan). I asked for the chicken protein and my friend for the tofu. But the waitress tells us that the protein is not included in the price of $9.00, but that it costs $7.00 more!!!!!!!In the menu it was written: .........(As is)FRIED RICESautéed vegetables, egg, dark soy sauce, furikake 9+ Add an additional protein of your choiceThe 9, at the end on the right, designating the price $9.00 for the fried rice dish. My girlfriend and I figured out that the extra protein was included in the $9.00, otherwise we would have listed the price of the extra protein on the menu! This extra protein cost $7.00 more, the waitress told us!!!!!!! Since it was excessive, we didn't take the extra protein.Normally, in a restaurant menu we are always told the cost of the supplement to the dish. But it wasn't written on the Sesame menu. I find this unacceptable! When we got to the service, the waitress brought us the rice dishes, but not the spring rolls. After waiting too long, we catch her passing and point out that she forgot our spring rolls. The waitress rushes to bring them to us, but after she leaves, we see that my friend only has one roll instead of 2, as we ordered. Phew!!!! We are still waiting to see her again, and tell her that she forgot a scroll. After all these disappointments, the waitress tells us that she will only charge us one roll (to apologize). The fried rice was excellent (very tasty), as were the imperial rolls. *I have never had fried rice as good as this! But for the service, and the ambiguous menu, we are not tempted to return to Restaurant le Sésame, unfortunately.“
“Very good food and excellent service. A little noisy because there were several groups.... the lack of parking is a problem, another alternative is needed.Parking: There are about 30 parking spaces, as the restaurant is on the corner of the bl. Henri-Bourassa and Louis xiv, impossible to park on the street“
“(Translated by Google) Had a nice and quick lunch there. The lady was really nice to us. The food was great, and the price was reasonable! :))The prawns are so big, they are delicious and can be eaten up. The soup noodle soup that is not photographed is very good! The dry fried beef river is ordinary, but delicious.(Original)Had a nice and quick lunch there. The lady was really nice to us.
