My bestfriend had ordered from here for an event and the food was so good! I’m glad it’s close to home, great prices, amazing portions , amazing food and friendly staff. I ordered legumes vegetarian, riz blanc sauce pois with extra pikliz (IYKYk) ?? I was so hungry, I took a picture half way through my meal. Only thing I’d suggest, selling a jar of your pikliz !!! And adding more plantain to the plate (it came with 3) ..because im greedy ?Thank you Team La Courbe

Honestly best griot ever me and my roommate used to go to Laval for griot however we have found our new place, went around 6pm and the atmosphere was amazing very welcoming and sweet, had a laugh with the lady at the front, the pork is very moist, the rice is amazingly seasoned, the bananas are just sweet enough. Honestly food from the gods above love it 100% would recommend oh and the pikilz was to die for!!!

Bonjour, je tiens à mentionner dès le début que je ne suis pas raciste et je suis une grande habitué des restaurants haïtiens. Mais là, c’était vraiment un autre niveau! Je suis venu avec ma copine et nous avons pris deux plats de tassot cabrit avec riz djondjon et lorsque nous sommes arrivés à la maison , les deux nous avons eu la même réaction! Le riz dure dure dure pas bien cuit . 5 petits morceaux de viande . Sauce brune et non sauce tit malice . Le pikliz en eau avec juste du liquide . Je ne me plain jamais mais la c’était vraiment décevant. Nous sommes donc retournés au restaurant pour faire changer notre riz et le commerce était fermé à 19h malgré qu’il était bien écrit qu’il fermait à 21h. Donc nous avons été obliger d’aller au chinois da côté acheter du riz blanc . Malheureusement très mauvaise expérience.

Je ne recommande pas ce restaurant!!! Le service à la réception était quand même bien par la jeune fille, comme elle n’avait pas réponse à certaine questions. Elle a du faire appel à la personne en charge (possiblement aussi la cuisinière/propriétaire )! Aucune courtoisie de celle-ci, très froide et sur la défensive. Nous avons acheté pour 72$, lorsque j’ai reçus les plats (3) j’avais 5 morceau de grio (petit là), 2 plantain (sucrée) et quand même une bonne quantité de riz le tout pour 18$. Je lui ai fait la remarque que la quantité de la viande était insuffisante et dans tout mes plats, elle me dit que tout les portion sont tel quel! Je lui répond que dans ce cas je n’en veux pas, elle a refusé de me rembourser…lolLe plus dans tout ça, la nourriture était VRAIMENT pas bonne. Ne faite pas le détour ça vaut vraiment pas la peine.Les épices ne sont pas typique créole, j’ai l’impression qu’il y’avait une épice indienne, pas certaine mais le goût est bizarre. Rendez-vous sur leur page FB pour des photos, la sauce est brune… Non, c’est un gros NON pour moi. Je n’y retournerais plus!!!!

I dont eat here often 2-3 a year, i always take riz collé, with whatever meal i take, this time i got pork (grio? Not sure) the pork is pretty dry (i guess its traditional way to cook it) i use the sauce that comes with it, the owner is super nice, very welcoming, very nice ambience , also what i like is that the product dont change (taste texture or brand)

Please update your menu. I ordered two entrée patee corde advertised at 3.50,after getting home and finding out there was only one order, I call to find out you have doubled the price without mention....Used to come here regularly but lately they've been slacking.....

I'm really disappointed of the flavor. I ordered riz dijon dijon and it was buerk. This is my first time being disappointed in haitian food. The 5 piece of tassot made me cry. I don't understand how this place has 4.6 star. Worst haitian restaurant ?
