We went on January 27th. We were a group of 10 in the terrace section. The outside temperature was 0 degrees. It was cold in the restaurant. The heating is not adequate. If I had been in a canteen I wouldn't have even mentioned it. But seriously.. add heat.

They made a mistake with a delivery. I ordered a pasta meal. I felt like I had the bottom of a pot. Finally, I called and the manager came and brought me another dish of dough directly to my house within minutes. Many thanks to Dominic!

One good Friday evening, we decided to treat ourselves to a “fancy” take-out pizza.We order polpettes (ground beef balls in tomato sauce) and an Americana pizza as starters. All for a nice $45 with tip.Arriving home, we help ourselves to find that the polpettes are not cooked! The middle of the meatballs is raw - not rare but definitely raw! So we left them aside. Let's move on to the pizza: black burnt crust in some places and we found 3 small pieces of mushrooms and 3 small pieces of green pepper. Not strong on the garnish! My wife thought I had bought a pizza without vegetables.....I contacted the restaurant about the polpettes, they apologized (apologies accepted - thank you!) and at my request, they had no problem reimbursing me.I go 10 km round trip to meet the owner/manager who gives me $15 cash to reimburse me for a purchase that cost me $16.10 with taxes ?. I ask why I am not reimbursed on my card used for the purchase via their cash register system and I get an answer that does not make sense! I tell them to leave it be and I leave with my $15!I haven't been to Geppetto since before the pandemic and it should be another 3 or 4 years before I go back.Sad because I like to support local restaurants.

First time, I only had good commentsGreat service on a Wednesday evening, small atmosphere, a nice little terraceThe cuisine was not great, the tuna tataki tasted nothing, just a “sploush” of mayo underneath. Luckily the waitress took my plate back which I replaced with mushroom crustini which was excellent and the beef tartare was delicious but not spicy enough for my tasteI recommend it and it’s well located

This was our first experience ordering delivery, and we were so disappointed. Especially considering the price. We would have really liked to like this restaurant as we are fans of this type of cuisine. Firstly the pasta was overcooked with a disappointing sauce, no taste, fishy texture.Secondly, the margherita pizza was a disappointment... I didn't know you could miss a classic like that with a bland sauce and bordering on too sweet. Inadequate pizza cooking and so on.Honestly, we didn't even eat our meal because we were so disappointed, only our fries so for $75 it's a lot to pay.I'm really upset.
