Lady Waiter with blond hair was very rude, we felt rushed when ordering. When asking about the menu she did a poor job explaining we didnt feel welcomed by her. All the other staff were caring and generous. We came all the way from Toronto enjoying our little vacation with some friends. Food was good, service from this lady was garbage.Portion size for pasta for $19 is unreasonable but nonetheless was still good. Would not come back to this place or recommend it to others.

I’m not one to make reviews, however, I had to make an exception for the POOR service and food that was received from this restaurant at the start.Firstly, I had made a reservation for 8 at least one day in advance, and when we arrived they would not seat us at a combined table for 8 due to restrictions (which we understood and complied with). We were divided into 2 groups at separate tables. This would not have been an issue until they were able to combine tables for the group behind us.Our first group ordered followed by the second group. The food for the first group came out and the second group did not get their food for an additional 20 minutes. It took so long that the blonde waitress came to the table thinking we were done and asked us if we would like dessert THEN remembered we didn’t get our food yet. By the time our food arrived, the rest of our first table had finished eating. The duck confit, beef stew, and beef flank were all mediocre tasting. The best tasting was the chicken and mushroom and escargot.I ordered an entree and appetizer and was unaware that there was a special price for an appetizer, entree, and dessert included. I pointed at just 2 items I wanted, but was charged the special price, but they did not tell me about the dessert until I asked why I was overcharged. It was clear that we were not from around here because on the reservation, I asked if English menus were available and they responded with yes.Would NOT eat here again and do NOT recommend due to the poor service and food.

Ordered chicken, they charged me for the one that came with dessert. Never got the dessert, when I asked about it they didn’t want to charge me for the one without dessert saying “no refund”(I just wanted to be charge for the chicken with no dessert), I told them to give me the dessert. The old lady screamed “oh my god”If I can give 0 stars I would.

We ate at this restaurant on the Saturday night of the long weekend. It was very busy and we had a table inside. They had amazing bread that they brought to the table, it was crispy on the outside tasted like sourdough bread. We ordered the three course meal, which was a really good deal. The potato leek soup was the starter and was good. My husband ordered the lamb shank and he really enjoyed it. I had the beef bourginon and it was delicious. The presentation of the food was really good. We had the tirimisu and the creme carmel and they were both good. Made us feel like we were in France. Would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed eating in this restaurant. They have great choice of very good and reasonably priced French food. Everything that we tried was excellent. Staff was also very friendly. You should make reservations in advance as the restaurant is very popular and always busy.

We came for dinner and although they were understaffed, the staff who were working were fantastic. The food was great. The soup of the day was so good, we asked for one to go and they found a container for us. Great experience!

Des petits ventres came recommended by both a coworker of mine and acquaintances of my parents so we booked a reservation for 8 people for dinner there on a Thursday evening. They have an extensive patio that wraps around the building, as well as a street front patio.We had the escargots gratinee and the salad with warm goat cheese to start. Both were delicious. Even my 10 year old niece enjoyed the escargots. We were given bread and butter with our appetizers, which my family devoured. We also ordered the duck confit, the beef bourguignon, and beef braised in wine sauce. The latter was served with vegetables, kale and potatoes, whereas the former was served more like a stew in a bowl. The beef was very tender but probably could have done with a touch more salt and pepper. The kale was a touch too salty. The duck confit and the accompanying scalloped potatoes were absolutely delicious.

We enjoyed two nights out at this restaurant as we loved it so much here! Garden salad appetizers were a nice light start. The first night we ordered the lamb shank and beef bourguignon. I can honestly say the the beef bourguignon was better than the one I had in Nice, France 2 years ago! Every entree we had was delicious from the fall-off-the-bone lamb shank to the Duck Confit. Creme caramel and chocolate mousse made for perfect sweet endings. I would recommend ordering from the Table D'hote menu for app, entree and dessert all included in one price -- alot more reasonable than A la carte , although the whole menu is reasonable for the lovely quality of cuisine. Reserve in advance as this hidden gem fills up quickly.

We are group of 11 people coming for three girls’ birthday. Made reservation the day before on their website but Were rejected at front door. A lady said she sent me email saying they could not take us which I absolutely did not receive the email. The lady was rude and no explanation no apology. Not sure how this happened but one thing for sure - will never come back!
