Food was great. Sushi is extremely fresh. But service is HORRIBLE. The server was kind but only one 1 server for the entire restaurant. We were waiting for 1/2 an hour to just order. Then waiting another 1/2 hour for 1st course. Then waiting 40 minutes for the main sushi course. We then order additional sushi. We ordered additional unagi and uni nigiri. After another 1/2 hour, the unagi was brought and the server telling us that the uni will be served right after. We waited another 40 minutes and told the server we wanted the uni off the bill and we wanted to leave. 15 minutes later manager came over and said she served us the uni on our main sushi platter. WE said we got it but we ordered additional that never came. After the server comes over another 10 minutes... told us that she never placed the order. The manager should have come over instead of accusing us like we were trying to pull a fast tone.... should have offered free dessert or a drink. SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! WORST restaurant experience EVER! If you want good sushi and are ok with waiting forever and forever for food then this is your place!

Excellent restaurant. It is now our favourite place to go for Sushi. The food is some of the best sushi we have had. The service is very good and the atmosphere is casual but uniquely smooth.

Awful! Parking is terrible. Got there and they gave our reservation to a different family so we had to squish into small table. Then after we spent over $200 in appetizers they come back to tell us they ran out of all chicken and beef dishes. Over priced and didn’t even discount fact that they ran out of food on Wednesday evening at 6:30pm. Would never go back. Overpriced for nothing and would never go back.

My family loved our Ekki Sushi dinner!! It was great food and everything was so well presented. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and they even gave my six year old a cooking tutorial behind the sushi bar! The chefs were so patient and loving with her. Absolutely surprised how good this sushi place is! Was hoping for adequate and was blown away by the quality, taste and presentation. An absolute must from now on when I'm in Tremblant.
I heard from a friend, that their sushi was excellent and probably the best he tried, I was a bit skeptic since that claim could be very subjective according to your own preferences. A few years back, I did a sushi project with my girls going to different sushi restaurants in Ottawa. I know I know Ottawa is not the foodie meca, but I also have the chance to try sushi in many other places outside Ottawa, hence I think I do have a pretty good idea about what Good Sushi should be, an Ekki surely delivered, the place is really quaint, the service is great, and of course their Sushi is the Star of this restaurant. Their presentation is impecable, and the taste is incredible. My friend was absolutely right This is the best Sushi I tried and is comparable with places as far as Hong Kong harbour

We went during spring break and decided to celebrate our anniversary dinner there. The place was packed at 8:30 and we ended up seated beside the chefs and got to watch them in action. The Chef’s choice platter was phenomenal. Chef Merts was very pleasant and friendly. He mentioned that they change the menu every season so we’re looking forward to coming back in a few months with the entire family. Im hoping they would open an Ekki Sushi in Ottawa so we wouldnt have to travel so far.

We've experienced many sushi bars in Canada. This one is superior in presentation, taste, texture, quality of ingredients and variety of items. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. It was a highlight of our trip! We'll be back!
