We were looking for an authentic Kouign Amann and I must say, this comes very very close to the real thing!It's buttery, sweet and slightly dense. The combination is perfect in the sense that one slice doesn't fall you into food coma at all (very easily digestible in comparison to other heavily butter based pastries).If I could make a suggestion, it would be to add a little bit of flaky sea salt on top; the saltiness enhances the flavour imo.”
