Large hotel right in the city center of the new Montrial area. The welcoming lobby has a strange and cute layout, the room is clean and airy, and the sofa is cute!

Lovely place to stay.Stayed here for 4 nights for business during the summer and we loved it here! The location is definitely five star. It is super close to everything and easy access to subways. The room we stayed at was spacious and spotless. The gym was a bit small but got everything you need. The front desk was super friendly and tentative.I would stay here again in the future. ?

Pretty disappointed in the management of this hotel... we had reservations for the weekend but now with the protests at McGill we didn't feel comfortable staying that close with the possible noise and congestion. In this sort of situation you would expect a good business to understand the circumstances and wouldn't charge us to cancel our reservation. Poor service and will definitely not book or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here in April and had a great time. The hotel is in a great location - very close to shopping and food. Loved the restaurant on site - the breakfast was fantastic. We had a Loft Suite room, which was large and fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.Walkability: Easy to walk to everything in downtown Montreal.

Stayed 1 night to be close to Dublin pub for st pattys and to avoid traffic of coming into town and we were 3 that took a suite room!! And WOW!! Ive never experience better service from the moment we had valet parked car, thank you Brandon, to luggage brought to rooms. Room was beautifully kept and decorated, very clean. The staff from front desk, valet, restaurant/bar were SO friendly and accommodating, everything about our short stay was amazing! We were 15 people party and every one of us praised the Hotel. Great location, great staff!! Thank you!! ?

First things first, Montreal is an incredible city. My stay is never long enough. The Renaissance downtown hotel is equally incredible. Beautiful decor, great location, clean, and the staff, from the front desk to the restaurant are exceptional. So friendly, helpful & accommodating. The food is great, too. I only had breakfast at the hotel but the latte and classic pancakes were delicious! Can’t wait to visit Montreal again and I’ll definitely be staying at the Renaissance.

I would have given 3.5...Average room. Majority of lights non-functional. Room in need of renovation. Mold in the shower. Disappointing for a Marriott. Chateau Champlain is far superior and less expensivePositive point, the rooms are very well insulated from noise

Very nice staff.Rooms are nice and modern.Internet is relatively fast (could be faster). Cafe is nice.Gym is ok but in the basement (no windows).Warning: their toiletries (shampoo, body wash) contain toxic phenoxyethanol, bring yours (a bit annoying), especially if you have children / baby.

Hotel ideally located and the rooms are modern and spacious. Top bedding and beautiful view of Eaton Center and Christ Church Cathedral! A big thank you to Concierge José Martinez for his welcome.
