Truly came here because the reviews were good. I hate to say it but the experience at this restaurant started off high and they delivered well at the beginning. Food was great, very delicious. If you want good food, come here. But our experience just got progressively worse - such a disappointing aftermath. They stopped tending to us after we got our mains. We had to ask for our coffee 3x, granted this was asked after our mains but we didn’t get it in the end - resulted in 50 mins wait. The waiter/host apologized for the delay because a party came in. We said it’s fine and he said it’s coming shortly (2nd ask). I’m all for waiting but to wait for a small latte for an excessive time is outlandish. Asked for a 3rd time, 20 mins interval after the 2nd ask - you guessed it, no coffee came. In the end we asked for our bill and to our surprise the coffee was not punched in. We waited for nothing. Paid and left. TLDR; come here for good food when visiting MTL but you risk of being forgotten and get at best a sub par customer service.

This restaurant is awesome! While wandering around Old Montreal, we came across this little gem. The atmosphere is excellent, the setting is charming and the food is delicious! The prices are reasonable and the service is impeccable!
The pita bread is magic. Loved every dish we tried here. Special mention to the fried cauliflower! Service and vibes are impeccable.

My friend and I came to Babacool for brunch on a whim and we had such a great time! The host was so funny and great to chat to! The vibes and music were perfect. We got French toast and the breakfast sandwich with matte latte. The food was delicious and I definitely would come back again :)

Great atmosphere (does it very well but it is not a WOW reaction so 4 star instead of 5)vbut the food is deliciously made and the tapas are decently priced for what you get.You can easily decern the multiple layers of flavours in each of the dishes and the sauces are not overwhelming.
I visited this place to relax and get some info and I ended up staying to have a drink :) love when you get a nice service and you feel like you are at a great place where you want to come back . Great music ! I can’t wait to try the libanese/marrocain tapas !
