Salvatore was so friendly, provided great service and history, and made great espresso! Definitely worth a stop in Little Italy!

The retro atmosphere, the history of the place, the passion of Salvatore who is very warm and welcoming and above all his incredible coffee! The best I drank in Montreal!

I love this survivor from the other century both for the retro look of the furniture and that of the pattern. He loses his memory a little but his conversation, half Quebec, half Italy, is always positive and pleasant. Espresso is naturally perfect. On the days of big football matches, 3 mega TVs provide broadcasts.

Whoever is opening the bar up on Friday morning is sooooo unprofessional. I called to see if a soccer game is being played and the girls yelling I don’t know and hangs up. Who the hell hires people like this ??

It's our first time here in Montreal and while walking around Little Italy, we found this very unique Café. Salvatore the owner was sitting outside and welcomed us. He made us coffee and he gave us a discount, my sister and I insisted for him to take keep the change. It was a back and forth insisting and refusing and he gave us some cookies and told us "It's special for you." ❤️❤️❤️ Salvatore is the sweetest.
Dont forget to visit this place when you go to montreal ? the owner was so nice and welcoming.

I was walking by, not intending to stop in a bar, but they were playing the days formula 1 race (Ferrari came in 3,4 today. !!). It was me, a local, and the owner.. Great place, been around since the mid 60’s, love the fact they broadcast F1 live..I was told I was lucky he was open today bc he opens when he wants to. Cash only.

I liked the atmosphere of this cafe bar.It looks authentic and warm.It reminds me of home.the owner is an experienced man and very polite to see nice. He explained the delicacies to me and let me taste the homemade ice cream (Italian recipe). He was very generous.Prices are not expensive at all for delicious coffee.Even after the cafe's closing time, they don't tell you anything and let you finish your coffee quietly unlike other cafes ❤️❤️Parking: there is a parking meter next to it

Place looks authentic and hasn't changed. But know that the coffee quality is the highest you can get!
