I can't say enough good things about Brasserie Bernard! The food never disappoints, the ambiance is "chaleureux" and the service always attentive, friendly and professional. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Montréal and there is zero pretension!

I visited Brasserie Bernard and would like to give it four stars.I spent $36 before taxes, without having any vegetables with my dish. The flank steak was deliciously cooked to perfection and the fries were excellent,but I regretted the absence of vegetables on my plate. In addition, the service was perfect.
The dishes are excellent, the attentive waiter takes care of us discreetly while we are immersed in our conversations, nourished by the atmosphere. Right across from the Outremont Theater, this place is not only convenient, it requires the trip itself. We love going there.
