We had dinner on our last evening in Montreal at the Cantina café; our son was 17 years old that day.I think he will remember it for a long time; he loved it and so did we.Everything was perfect.Don’t hesitate to stop there or take a detour if you are staying in Montreal and want to eat Mexican.I imagine that the locals know this address well otherwise I suggest they go there.

Food was delicious and fresh! Got the enchiladas mix vege and quesadillas mix vege. Ambiance was perfect, very cute spot, the music wasn’t too loud as well which is hard to find. Service was fast and nice too. They are also having an event on Feb 14th dancing and live music. Lots of vegetarian options too.

Love this place! Always fresh and delicious, generous portions, affordable prices. I’m surprised it’s not more popular, what a gem ? I tried almost everything from the menu, you can’t go wrong here.. my favourite is lamb burrito, really to die for! ? on the photo a yummy vegetarian option: sweet potato tacos with salads ?Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available
First of all, the cafe is adorable. Love the murals.
They have some good vegan options and the owner seemed knowledgeable. I tried the burrito which had kale, sweet potato and squash (on top of beans, rice and the usual stuff). It was delicious but huge! I got the regular and couldn't even eat the whole thing. I can't imagine what the large looks like.
Best tacos/Enchilada and margaritas I ever had in my life (and I live in the United States)! Crazy...

Nice! Got their own take on things but in general in a good way (pretty spicy carnitas for example). The chicken taco was something of a watery, tasteless, disappointment but all other things was nice

Naked burrito was missing ingredients: rice, guacamole. It had an overwhelmingamount of beans and two bites of meat. The person serving me also asked the person prepping my dish if he had added the rice and he said yes. Odd experience and Disappointing meal.
