The 2 gentlemen at the burger counter, poutine sandwich, very nice on the other hand the blonde Quebecois lady at the other hot food counter really very unpleasant, she always looks at me with an audacious look since I asked her if I could have extra vegetables instead of rice, I would have paid extra. Anyway, she was stupid...it was just a simple question. The youngest, wow super smiling.

Pay several thousand dollars to study for a few months but you can't buy a salad after 1:30 p.m. Thank you UdeM.

It's closed when it says it's open.

Bad service 25 min wait.Average food, tasteless. On the other hand, Valère (the chef) was much warmer, kinder and above all French!!Maybe see you next time!

I find it very expensive for what is offered. I only go there when I'm in a bad situation. You can walk 5-10mins to CDN and you'll get better bang for your buck.

five stars for its delicious vegan meal and veggie burger. But the food is somehow overprized

Dear!!! The prices have increased and it shows: $8.28 will get you a meager 300 grams of salad and a small filter coffee... Much too expensive for a university cafeteria... The student cafes on campus are much cheaper.

Food is not bad

Student Cafe with one of my fav club sandwiches in the world. They have fast food like sandwiches, BBQ chicken, burgers, hot-dogs, fries, and daily menus which changes every day.Price deal maybe not the best (HEC Montreal's having a better deal in my opinion), but very convenient for those who are hungry after study.

Located in the Jean-Brillant pavilion of the University of Montreal, Valérie is a cafeteria-style restaurant so no tipping. I received a good quality lunch there at competitive prices. The place is clean and well kept but without any atmosphere.

I ordered a sandwich from a cook, before I arrived with my order, this cook was cleaning it with a rag. Following my order, he left the cloth and went directly to take my bread, without washing his hands. When I made the remark kindly, the cook himself made me feel bad for asking him this by saying that his cloth was clean. On the other hand, he did the cleaning. I found this situation very uncomfortable and not right, the cook told me that I was wrong to ask him to wash his hands. Yet I was the one who was going to eat this food. Plus I didn't even enjoy my dish.Another time I asked a lady to make a club sandwich, while preparing this sandwich, there was a cloth on the counter with dark brown stains. One of the breads that was going to be used for my sandwich touched the cloth, at first I didn't want to say anything, because of the incident that had traumatized me with the gentleman (which is not at all normal!). The lady had finished preparing my food and I went to pay for her. Throughout my journey to the checkout I wondered if I should say something following this incident and in fact I went back to see the lady. The lady was very unpleasant, but she still agreed to make my sandwich again, just before she started making my sandwich she touched her nose with her hands (do you think that's normal?) and she was going to continue making my sandwich . I kindly asked him to wash his hands and of course he didn't like it. In the end, the lady washed her hands, then the bread with which she made my sandwich was toasted (brown on the side) and she didn't bother to change it. In the end, I didn't say anything more, but I find this situation very unfortunate. It is not normal for us to treat a client like this, nor is it normal to have this type of health problem. Customers trust the cooks and they do anything.
