Excellent little affordable sandwich shop in the city center, which is rare. I've been going there for a long time and the chicken sandwich is always good. The service is friendly and smiling. They are truly people who take their work to heart.

Very nice lunch alternative, especially if you work in the old port. Everyone from my office calls this place the 5$ Sandwhich place. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for a quick salad sandwich. The daily special has lost some in recent months. The waiting time is long around noon. But perfect a little before or after

It has been since 2019 since I last had this. Glad to see they survived past the pandemic. Prices have only increased a little bit but some prices stayed put (like the roll!).Simple sandwiches, save a few cents if you buy large (double).Daily menu (asian)Fresh salad barTo go boxed salad from the fridgeThey make sandwiches fresh. How fresh? The lady had freshly cut some spicy salami for me in the back which yes did hold up the line a little bit, but that is what they do for customers. Lettuce, tomato, mayo as default on typical baguette (crunchy but soft inside). Not stale bread at all.The fried roll is probably the best deal but you can only each so much fried on a daily basis.IF you want to eat for under 10$ you can do so here. If you want a bite for under $5 you can definetly visit this place. Almost not worth it to make at home.Note 12;30-12:50 gets packed.

I've been a customer since the 1980s at their original location next to the downtown YMCA. Their salads and sandwiches are top notch and very reasonably priced. I also adore their brownies which are the only ones I've ever tasted that were like my mom's. They are my favourite lunch spot when I'm in the area.I was shocked and saddened when I drove by their Drummond Street location and saw it was closed. Glad they still have a location although definitely not convenient for me.

Went in one day because I was hungry. Was blown away. Lady made me a fresh ham lettuce tomato sandwich and it was delicious. From that day on I was a regular customer! Now I switch between the sushi roll and the sandwiches. They’re the cheapest sandwiches in the area and the best quality for sure. Highly recommend!
