Perfect experience loved the small, simple wooden atmosphere, delicious Wontons, General Tao, and spring rolls. The service was amazing, with a short waiting time. I hope to come back one day!

Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian/vegan options. I reccomend the sweet and spicy eggplant, dry-fried green beans, and the sweet and sour fried tofu.Dietary restrictions: Most of the vegetarian dishes are vegan. I reccomend the sweet and spicy eggplant, dry-fried green beans, and the sweet and sour fried tofu.

Used to be my favorite restaurant. I don’t know what happened to them but the food became so subpar, not to say horrible, and prices aren’t that great for what you get. Won’t ever come back.

Ordered on Uber, very tasty, but the rice portion is slightly small, would ordered 2 if I know the portion ahead.

The ambience of the place is really top notch and so is the service. The food is a must. A really nice lowkey restaurant.

General Tao was good (not the best I have had but still quite good). The cumin beef was ok, but I wasn't blow away with a taste nor with their sour soup. The place was almost empty on Friday 8pm, which was a bit strange and didn't create a great vibe exactly.

This is a great find. Had Hot & Sour soup & Pad Thai, both were excellent. Staff & Chef were awesome and kind. Definitely returning here for lunches. Very reasonable also.

I don't know why this gets raves. It was barely passable. Hot & Sour soup had so much corn starch it was chewy and gooey. Ribs were tasteless as was the General Tsao. Maybe we are spoiled by Toronto Chinese food. Staff was great, however.

I've eaten at Aunt Dai at least 25 times in the past 6 years or so. There are dishes I keep coming back to, like the excellent cumin beef, the spicy shrimps, the kung pao chicken and mapo tofu.In the past, everything was consistently delicious. But in the past two years or so, it has changed a bit. The grilled calamari, which used to be one of their best dishes, is now a total disappointment and has nothing to do with what it used to be. The last time we went, the mapo tofu was bland and uninteresting, while it was exceptional the time before that. My son chose the Singapour noodles, because he's used to eating them at home and he likes to eat what he knows. Frankly, they were barely edible; they were oversalted and bland and the noodles were way overcooked. We know that it's not an authentic Chinese dish and a little more on the bland side, but there still is the possibility to cook a nice version of it.So all in all, I used to be very confident in the dishes I ordered at Aunt Dai, but now, when I go, I'm always a bit worried that the dishes I order won't be as good as usual. Some effort should be put in making sure the different cooks deliver the same flavors.

Tasty Chinese dishes, nice staff, fast service, and very reasonable prices. We usually take a main dish, with a bowl of steamed rice, and then share a plate of sauté vegetable to share. And a bottle of saki to share. I recommend 2 side dishes toi absolutely try with your meal: dry-fried green beans, and eggplant dish.
