Second time I go there and leave with massive cramps. Service and atmosphere are nice but the food is just a bad imitation of Italian flavors.

Yet another amazing dinner at Dinette Marcella. We sat at the bar, giving us an opportunity to try some amazing cocktails while chatting with the bartender. The food was outstanding, especially the creamy mushroom gnocchi. This is my second time visiting Marcella while on holiday in Montreal. I look forward to coming back again soon.

What a GEM of a place. Very cozy inside & nicely decorated. The food was delicious. I ordered traditional carbonara & it is perfect in every way. The waiter took his time to find the perfect wine pairing for my meal. The staff was lovely & the views of old Montreal from the window were stunning.

This is easily one of the best Italian restaurants we’ve been to, and we’ve been to A LOT. The place’s ambience and decor is lively and beautiful, with twinkling lights and hanging lanterns from the ceiling. The staff was efficient and friendly. Our reservation was for a Friday at 7 PM and we left around 8:15. having enjoyed a three-course meal. It did feel a little bit hectic, kind of like when they expect you to dine quickly so that they can free up the table. Thus, if you are planning on a long relaxing meal, this may not be the place for you. Maybe it’s less busy during weekdays.Kid-friendliness: Arrive early. For those with strollers, leave them behind or fold them before arriving, as there is barely any space to walk between the tables.
