The pizza was simply delicious. Fresh and tasty ingredients. The children loved it too. Friendly service and a small neighborhood restaurant atmosphere. We have adored.

BEWARE BEFORE GOING AND EAT THERE!!!! Used to be my favorite pizzeria! Quality has fallen so much and the service is not what it used to be. But my main reason for one star is the fact the manager that ran the place for so many years is not there anymore because he stole thousands and thousands of dollars while running it. My bank contacted me to let me know that my card may have been fraudedShame on you Stefano and Micheal! Why haven’t your clients been notified that your manager was scamming us, what are you trying to hide?

Great pizzas. Nice wine list, I really enjoyed my glass of orange wine. Its a nice spot for a date night. Its small so I would recommend make a reservation. Highly recommend their iced custard (kind of like a rich ice cream) with cherries as a dessert.

Very good pizza! A little noisy in the evening though. The octopus and fennel salad was good too.We didn't have reservations, but it was a fairly cold evening, so I guess we were lucky.Edit: we came back, we only had pizzas, the service was very fast, in 40 minutes we were already out ? the taste is still there, it's very good ?

At Gema, all fans of (thin) pizzas are welcome, whether you cut yours with a fork and coat it like a pancake, roll it up (like me) or eat it “flat”. The observation of this value of inclusion – a popular and political word these days – was reinforced by seeing the “Hawaiian” pizza on the regular menu, reviled by purists. Originally, I laughed when my friend chose the latter, which probably made her change her mind. Then, I somewhat regretted it thinking of the unexpected flavors I could have discovered. Well, it doesn’t matter! Here, the pizzaioli are masters of their art; our three bellies were very happy with their choice: the fungo for me, the appenine for my friend and the capricciosa for the friend of the friend. As a result, there is no real repentance to be had.Always in this pursuit of putting all good people at ease, the Gema does not put on airs. The atmosphere is relaxed, intimate, and the service is as well, always on hand and with a smile. The fault, if there is one, lies in the smallness of the room. It fills up relatively quickly and, without a reservation, you may have to be kindly turned away, hoping to see you there another day. In my opinion, if this should indeed happen to you, try to come back. The delicious starters (Jean-Talon market salad, Elena suppli), pizzas and desserts (a tender vanilla ice cream) should delight your hungry gang.Take note, however, that the prices are in a slightly more exclusive range and that you should plan a substantial budget, of $40 to $50 per person, excluding drinks. I closed the door to alcohol consumption when I saw the prices of cocktails hovering around $17.18, figures worthy of a high-end restaurant. All things considered, we enjoyed a simple meal punctuated by simple conversations, which might have ended just as simply, had it not been for a hilarious little incident, namely the encounter of my head with the glass of the sliding door while I tried to look outside. I assure you that she was invisible! But not anymore, thanks to a nice big “fingerprint” of my forehead.Vegetarian options: Yes, pizzas for all styles of eaters and consciences.Parking: Squares along the street. Paid or free parking depending on the time of day.Kid-friendliness: Yes of course! I don't know if there are high chairs, but there are benches.Wheelchair accessibility: No... Not impossible, but you will need help to get over the steps.
