This place is the discovery to be made in the Hochelaga sector. The menu is very sophisticated, the flavors are complex and subtle. The service is extraordinary. The number of servers per person is just ideal so that they have time to talk to us about what is on our plates. The menu changes at a constant rate throughout the seasons. The decor is warm and the acoustics are pleasant. It's a little expensive but worth it if you like to explore. And now we can start or end the evening at the Copilote clandestine bar which is located right next door and is operated by the same owner.

We had dinner at Hélicoptère. The experience was pleasant without being overwhelming. The service, provided by three people with very different energies, was uneven. Although we enjoyed some good dishes, nothing will remain engraved in our memory. We opted for the tasting menu with the wine pairing, which added to the final bill which was slightly high considering the lack of memorable dishes. Overall, it was a good evening, but we expected a little more for the price ($320 + tip for 2). Not disappointed, but not overwhelmed either.Parcontre, special mention for the abundant use of local products.

I had already been several years ago and loved my experience. We went back with my partner last week and I was even more charmed by my experience. I expected to be very limited in my choices given my pregnancy, but to my great surprise they adjust their menu to accommodate people whether you are vegetarian, pescetarian or pregnant. It's very rare to find such an accommodating restaurant. We had the tasting menu and they changed 2 dishes for me. Everything was delicious and we had a pleasant time. We will definitely return. Thank you for this great evening!

Very warm little restaurant and divine food. The three people who were at the service gave an impeccable quality of service, very attentive.We had the tasting menu, everything was delicious, beautiful presentation, abundant portions. Fair price for the quality of the dishes.
I recommend the full experience. The menu is already decided for you. 5 services to share with someone. The food was exceptional. The cook came to bring us the plate and explain it to us. The food and wine pairing is the only thing that disappointed me. The beef tartar and trout melted in your mouth! The duck dish was delicious. The quantities were decent. Great discovery!

I came here with some friends recently and enjoyed a great meal filled with food made by a clearly talented chef. While the dishes were on the smaller side, as is usually the case with French/fine cuisine, each dish packed a punch of flavors leaving me curious for more. We tried the tasting menu as this was our first time, it provided a great array of different dishes and we were definitely looking to come back and try some of the other dishes. The black cod, the duck and the mushroom dish were my favorites.I removed one star because of the service. Our reservation was at 9, so probably one of the last services of the evening. When the waiter took our order, he informed us that two us the items from the tasting menu were sold out and that they would substitute it with other things. I asked if I could order the tasting menu in addition to other dishes and he really stood his ground in saying that the tasting menu was a lot and ordering more was ambitious. He did mention that if we were still hungry agrees that we could simply order more. Low and behold, when the last course before desert came, we were still hungry and still very curious to try what else the menu had to offer. We asked to get the menu and the waiter seemed a bit struck. He asked us to wait while he asked the chef if the kitchen was still open and returned shortly to tell us that if we placed the orders now, they could be fulfilled. But now, what happened was that a lot more of the menu was sold out. In the end, 6 menu items were not available. So while this was not exactly the waiters fault (but I guess he could have listened to our original order and not tell me that I'm ambitious if wanted more than the tasting menu), I don't understand why the restaurant would take reservations at a time where by the middle of the meal, half the menu items would run out. It just felt like we got screwed by getting a late reservation. For such a restaurant of high estime, every seating should be serviced at the same caliber.I digress. The food was good and I was happy I got to come here.

Ordered everything from the menu. I personally loved the foie gras mousse and the pork (special of the day?) the most. My only complain is really personal, l'éclairage est trop sombre, I prefer being able to see my food clearly.Great food, great service, lives up to the hype.
