an exceptional mention for black cod. The quantity for a tasting menu they have 3 choices (30-45-60) and the majority of us were a little disappointed with the quantity (45) I finished dinner and I was literally hungry. It was good but the quantity of their tasting menu should be mentioned on a menu on the side. Anyway, if I ever go back there's no sake bomb and just cod (sake bomb are good but we don't find the same atmosphere as at imadake hehe) anyway. Overall 3.8/5Parking: horrible haha take the bus/taxi or vote for another mayor

Very good food, impeccable service! The place was a little noisy but it wasn't a big deal. We were celebrating a birthday and had 8 tapas for 4 people.

I second Phil's review, the balls I had in my mouth at the Izakaya are something out of this world. I just couldn't have one ball at the time.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. So bad that I’m writing my first ever review. Like others have mentioned, this restaurant enforces a rule preventing you from ordering ramen if you make a reservation. We sat down and asked for an exception as we looked around on this Tuesday night to see 1/4 of the tables empty. They refused and said the line would 45 minutes. I’m looking around bewildered as the place was far from full. Everyone around us was eating ramen when myself and date weren’t allowed to. The most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had. We felt punished for making a reservation. They should split the rooms if anything so I’m not surrounded by people eating what I’d like to eat as well. As far my actual meal, meh with tiny portions. I walked out hungry after 2 plates refusing to give them any more of my money. Service was very slow, it took over 30 min to serve our sake. Dinner was over 1.5 hours long. I’m never going back and will be sure to let everyone I know just how subpar this place is. There are far better Izakaya options in Montreal
The atmosphere is pretty nice, but don't come here for the food. The menu comes in small, overpriced portions. For reference, 5 pieces of karaage will run you 18$.The food itself was nothing impressive either - the BBQ squid was too rubbery to chew through and the shrimp tempura was heavily underseasoned. Not a bad place to grab a drink, but I wouldn't get food here again

So so so good. The only catch is the irl line/waiting list. If you want ramen & drinks & bigger menu on the left side where it's bopping you can't call to have a reservation. But if you plan it well you can get on the list irl and have drinks not too far while you wait. Waiting time can be from 30 mins to 1:30..
