This place is a bit of a hidden gem, tucked away in an underground food court. They serve up a great selection of Japanese comfort foods at an affordable price point.I had a gyudon from here and while it was nothing too special from a flavour perspective, it was exactly what I wanted from a gyudon at a price point that is tough to find nowadays. The service was friendly and the food came quick. The only thing to note is to make sure you have cash as they are a cash only store.

Extremely delicious and affordable food. Highly recommend eating here. Only downside is it's in a food court, but that didn't deter from the food itself.Vegetarian options: There are vegeterian options.

I have been visiting this place since forever. I believe that I have tried all of the dishes here. They are delicious and remind me of my trip to Japan. This authentic restaurant offers cheap rice bowls for less than $10. The servers are friendly and nice. I get to practice my Japanese sometimes ☺️. This is my go-to spot whenever I am around the area on weekdays.

Eat Japanese food for less than a Big Mac at McDonald's? Not only is it excellent, the prices are very affordable! And the staff are very welcoming!

I go here from time to time for a cheap and satisfying meal. Located in a food court, it's surprisingly popular and usually has a line during lunch time. Portion sizes are pretty small, likely due to the cultural differences. I always take number 10 large (chicken katsu curry) and it's pretty delicious. It's a somewhat sweeter curry, but combined with the rice it's great! It's also pretty cheap, though be ready for the cash only part. The lady at the front is always very kind and social. Overall, amazing place and I'd recommend to anyone who is around and wants a cheap and delicious meal.

Very affordable, authentic and delicious Japanese food. I usually order the unagi don but the other rice dishes are excellent as well. Definitely recommend!
Came with a colleague, it is a true Hidden gem (cause it is truly hidden unless you work in the building or surrounding). Welcomed by a smiley and polite lady to take the order. The menu has enough varieties to choose from. The biggest highlight for me is how the pricing is reasonable! In this climate, where do you find lunch under $10?! (With change) You can choose from 3 sizes of portion that I think it’s perfect for smaller eater. Food was served quickly. I had #4 - Chicken with egg, it was very tasty, I like the sauce they put on the rice. They also leave 8 different kind of sauces upfront for you to customize your dish. They also have little appetizers that’s worth trying! A must try place for lunch!! Thank you for the good food!! :)

Food is good but taking only cash and not even debit card is suspicious and tedious for the customer. Had $20 in cash and bought two meals at $10 each, but for takeout, it was an additional $0.50 for each meal. After explaining how I just went to get cash from the CIBC across the street, the lady was not budging at all, and was telling me to pick something else on the menu. At any other restaurant, I can guarantee this fee would be overlooked. Selfish service, will not return anymore.
