Been here years ago before they reopen and had a great time.But 0 stars if i can after they reopen! I know it’s too late to review but I and my friend paid the ticket for NYE and one of the guards didn’t let us in when we literally arrived before 1am and they didn’t say anything about not letting people in for arriving late. On NYE SERIOUSLY KAMPAI?? They should have at least given us refunds!Seems like it’s not their first time ´cause there was also review about it.

The club part of Kampai is very pleasant, but the entrance, what a disaster! I come to drop off my coat, pay (without tipping) and leave. Then I want to go out to smoke, so I ask for my coat. The person in charge of the locker rooms replied rudely: "You won't have your coat to go smoking, you don't even tip." The problem with our American society, based on the culture of tipping, is so great that employees in this type of place only think about their tips to get a decent salary. The simple service of putting a coat on a hanger shouldn't even involve the option of tipping (considering that I already pay $5 to have my coat put on a hanger, perhaps gold). So next time, change careers and stop working in customer service.

21st october,Really love this place.Ask Tamy, we spent 2000$ in bottles. The only reason we left is the DJ. She's trash. Place was empty as soon as she got there. We asked a song for the birthday of my friend and she just ignored us. Oh well, it is what it is.

Your bouncers have a real ego trip. They think they can just disrespect people freely. Their job is to make sure your establishment is safe, not judge and/or disrespect your clients. This was my first time going back since the re-opening and I will not recommend this place to any of my clients. Someone should really put these boys in-check especially that this place was empty. Thats not how you attract people. The bouncer created this false narrative about me, completely lied just to kick me out! I literally did nothing wrong. I was shook by his attitude. Group A5 has so many other beautiful places you can go to and feel respected.

Went there with work for a 5a7 and enjoyed the wonderful service, great drinks and superbly creative bites they had on offer. Yes it's on the pricy side but we had a great time enjoying such a small but refined night space.It's a bit of a shame that the water damage caused the original kampai to close. I missed the pool tables and couches, but this spot does try hard to keep the kampai vibes going despite being somewhat harder to find (entrance at the back of Faubourg) and the vibes being about scaled back by a third.
