For a spicy and flavorful dish, I highly recommend trying the Kung Pao Hot Spicy Chicken at Kimbai Restaurant. The chicken was tender and coated in a delicious spicy sauce. The dish was packed with flavors from the combination of chili peppers, peanuts, and other aromatic ingredients. It's a dish that will satisfy your cravings for bold and spicy flavors.

Fried Green Beans With Minced Pork at Kimbai Restaurant were a pleasant surprise. The green beans were perfectly cooked, retaining their crunchiness, and the minced pork added a savory element to the dish. The combination of flavors and textures made it a satisfying and enjoyable choice.

We followed the Yelp review for 4 stars to this restaurant. The location is not in the hot space of Chinatown but not hard to find. I was surprised to find a childhood favorite dish, sautéed pork liver/溜肝尖, a rare served in any Chinese restaurant, and the taste was great, tender with garlic flavored brown sauce. Another two dishes, fried seafood /椒盐海鲜 and beef with rice noodles/ 炒牛河粉 are pretty authentic in a large portion. The lady who served the table was very nice and soft voice. In fact, she was quite elegant which made our first meal in our Montreal trip a happy and relaxed experience.

The Sliced Pork In Garlic Sauce at Kimbai Restaurant was a standout dish. The pork was tender and had a wonderful garlic flavor that was not overpowering. The sauce had just the right amount of seasoning, and the dish was accompanied by steamed rice, which paired well with the flavors. It's a satisfying and flavorful choice.

I have a sweet tooth, so I couldn't resist ordering the Peanut Butter Dumpling at Kimbai Restaurant. It was a delightful surprise! The dumplings were perfectly cooked and had a generous filling of smooth and creamy peanut butter. The combination of the crispy exterior and the rich peanut butter inside was heavenly.

Kimbai Restaurant's Vegetable Spring Rolls are a great choice for vegetarians. The spring rolls were crispy and filled with a variety of fresh vegetables. The accompanying dipping sauce was tangy and enhanced the overall flavor. It's a tasty and light appetizer option.

We were able to order a seasonal spring spinach dish that wasn't on the menu which was a plus. Waitress couldn't describe the sauce though but it was very tasty. That's where the good parts ended. Not very clean. Food came out in random order leaving people waiting to eat. This was the killer though; they had zero beverages other than fountain drinks and tap water. No sparkling water, no beer, no cocktails, even though all were listed on the menu. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive. I was really wanting it to be better.
