I took the Tantan men and karaage and I was a bit disappointed. The ramen broth was very oily, I couldn't finish it, and the karaage didn't have a good crisp, the texture was sorta elastic and not super well seasoned. If I were to go back, I'd try one of the rice dishes instead, those looked pretty good. This is maybe due to inflation but 40$ (tip included) for a bowl of ramen and karaage seems a bit intense.

I went by myself and I really enjoyed it. I like the concept of individual cabinets, but they also have bigger ones for 2 people. The service was good and polite. The food was tasty. I recommend the fried octopus.

The food quality has gone down a lot over the years. I used to love eating here. Now it's just overpriced generic ramen that asks for minimum of 18% tip. I love this kind of business model where you get your own private "booth" if you eat alone; but unfortunately that's the only special thing about this place. The water faucet has grimes all over it like no one has cleaned it in months. If you want good ramen, don't go here.

i liked this place a lot and thought it was a lovely atmosphere. the food is good, not outstanding, but flavorful and in good portions. good spice to the spicy ramen as well. one thing i would highly recommend is getting an extra egg with ur ramen!! it is definitely more pricier than it should be.

Awesome concept! You can go alone and not feel lonely at all or you can go with friends. Service is friendly and fast. The place is clean and trustworthy. The food was ok, nothing extraordinary though. A tad pricey…We ordered Takoyaki and Poku gyoza for appetizer and both were acceptable. The ramen we chose was Kumamoto Tonkotsu and Tantan men with additions of kimchi. Both ramen bowls were just a little disappointing with mostly noodles but still good to finish them. Kimchi was really good but not enough to beat the slight disappointment of the ramen, somehow we expected more from this place.I still recommend it strongly! Must visit for the concept at least once!

The ramen was ok in taste but small for the price. Once seated, the menu/price is locked behind a qr code and the item is ordered verbally. The seats are nice, they are dividers and curtains which allows the food to be enjoyed in peace.

I came in here expecting the Japanese udon and ramen menu, but what I found is they have only ramen selections. I applaud the way they design their small area to maximize the seating capacity without crowding or noisiness. There is nothing to complaint about the food or the service, but honestly it's like you make your own ramen noodle at home. The meat portion is just right. Everything is good except the pricing. It is overly priced. I ordered the fried octopus appetizer and there are 3 pieces the size of a toonies. For that same price in regular Chinese restaurant in Toronto I get 4x the food. For 2 bowls of noodles (no side food included in the noodle just chicken and wood-ear mushroom or known as Tonkotsu), 1 octopus appetizer and 2 pop, the price is $65. This food is definitely not worth the price.

Literally the worst ramen ever. I found the staff are friendly. The sitting, the water hose in front of you and the bear are lovely and worth mentioning. They charge you like a high-end ramen, but the soup base is just oil and salty, nothing profound or sophisticated. The black garlic ramen I ordered has no sign of black garlic sauce or flavour or look. I paid one visit for the bear- which tricked me, but I won't come back ever again.

It was ok but nothing extraordinary. There are way better ramen places in Montreal imo. As for the staff, it was okay like they were nice but the service was lacking. Then again, maybe they’re understaffed so I can’t judge them too harshly. Not everyone had chopsticks and we had the ring the bell at least 3 times to get someone to help us. It’s probably better to go there alone, I don’t think it’s a good place for groups.

Food was okay, not bad, not great. Eggs were overcooked. Broth was bland, meat was dry.Loved the concept though! The way you order and how private are the booth is great.I think they just need to tweak the flavors and the food quality overall then this place will be awesome.

Unfortunately did not have all items in the menu so I was a bit disappointed but the food was pretty good regardless.Returned for what I initially wanted (the gyudon) and they had it on the menu, but another item was missing (konkorokke). Overall the food was really really good. The small deep fried octopi was great. The gyudon was good but on the smaller side. They served it with kimchi and miso soup which is nice.On a side note tasted the supposedly tonkotsu ramen and it had a brown broth and tasted more akin to shoyu.

Unique solo dining experience! Ideal for 1 or 2 people. You get to sit at your own booth with a curtain for privacy. You push a little button when you’re ready to order. After ordering, it did not take long to get my food. I had the Karaage Tonkotsu. The fried chicken was my favourite part. It was crispy and well seasoned. The spicy sauce that came on the spoon was (in my humble opinion) not that spicy. If you have a low spice tolerance I think you can handle this ramen

We had the karaage and the kumamoto tonkatsu. For the ramen, you can choose between straight or wavy noodles and lean or fatty chashu. The kaarage was good and the ramen also, but the portions are smaller compared to other restaurants. The private booth style is pretty cool.

The ramen here is fairly good. Similar to what you will get and experience in Japan. I like how they set up their restaurant to have the similar vibe as japan. Like ichiran. Definitely worth a visit.I had the karage ramen combo which consisted of their red spicy ramen (forgot the official name) with a side of 3 karage chicken pieces, rice and a drink. The only thing I wish they would improve on is their karage. The pieces were tiny and if they were not included in the special I would have been fairly upset as to the price you pay for the minuscule pieces of chicken sold.

The food was generous in quantity and I enjoyed the taste. The pricing is more on the expensive side but they are a Central restaurant so I guess that's to be expected. They did have limited staff but the service was quick and the were very polite. I would recommend this restaurant if you don't mind spending a lot, but if not it is not for you. Must try but.
