I've been going to Chilenita for about twenty years and I've never ordered an empanada. For what?Because it’s hard not to order a Barros Luco. One of the best value for money sandwiches in Montreal, thin slices of beef, tomatoes, avocado and delicious cheese on fresh bread. Try it and you'll thank me, it's one of the best with the addition of the hot sauce (which is rather mild).Timid but efficient service, the place does not have particular charm but is lined here and there with Chilean reminders.$18 sandwich + Jarritos with tax.P.S.: if you found this review useful and informative for your choices, please ? leave a ? in support of the author, thank you!Parking: The city has closed Roy Street to motorists, making it almost impossible to get there by car because parking is only for residents...

Lovely place to go eat fresh empanadas, sandwiches, desert, churros, coffee etc etc there is also a lovely place outside with tables and chairs for sunbathing and eating outside. Quiet and very welcoming place. Thanks to Michel for being there and making a big difference with the competition.

Lovely place with great decor to have a taste of Chile in the artistic neighborhood! Nice staff, we ordered a pack of different empanadas, all good --- go earlier so you can try more delicacies.

The food was very delicious, it is a little complicated to get to if you go by metro but it is worth it.

Hate leaving this review because I’ve been a client of theirs since the BEGINNING on Napoleon. They’re also some of the nicest people I know.35$ for a quesadilla and 3 empanadas seems already like a stretch. But when you factor in that the quesadilla is half the size of what it used to be and can be eaten in 4 bites and costs 14$ alongside a few tortilla chips you have to make a stand and appeal to these lovely people to step up their game a bit.
