Excellent typically Italian restaurant. Perfect for eating before an event at the Bell Centre. The food was excellent.

Very expensive restaurant for the quantity. $25 for just two cannelloni, ridiculous.Less than basic service: no Hello how are you, no presentation of the daily specials, never came back for water, no request for the number of bills. Then at the end, the waiter complains about the low tip (normal given the lack of service) then insults by saying that it's probably because he's a Frenchman.

Typical traditional Italian restaurant with high quality products, run by long time owners that used to be at Piedmontais. La Marinara is one of the best price quality option in Montreal. We had scallops as appetizers that were amazing. Then we had veal with pasta that were tasty and tender. Great for lunch and dinner. The owner recommended a 60$ bottle that was very good.

Really a good Italian restaurant like you won't find many. Generous and tasty portions. The Polignac veal and Alfredo pasta are sublime and the desserts magnificent, the only downside being a somewhat basic wine list. But definitely a place I will return to.
