I've eaten at the original location a few times, and it has always been a stronghold for brunch. We decided to try this location based on prior great experience, and we were not disappointed. This was by far the best meal of our trip! I ordered the indecisive which comes with lemon ricotta pancakes, eggs, the best potatoes you will ever consume, baguette and avocado. The meal was incredible! The energy smoothie was excellent, as was the latte. So glad they now have an English menu, as the original location only had French menus. The bathrooms are not as cool, and the atmosphere not as special as the original location (i.e. there are no motorcycles hanging from the ceiling),but there is a cool looking mannequin to greet you. Service was friendly and fast. We will be back!

I loved eating here. It was definitely such a vibe. Great open space and music. Jess was our server and she was phenomenal. We were a party of 4 and all of our food was excellent. The scrambled eggs are some of the best I've ever had. The potatoes were so flavorful. The pistachio coffee and americano were bold with great flavor. The steak was excellent. This is simply just a great breakfast/brunch spot.

Always the best food, always the best service. Cool funky vibe and ambiance. Brought my childhood friends from back west for brunch/late breakfast there today. Went in hungry, came out happy..and full:) A Montreal landmark and absolute gem of a place to eat the most awesome and amazing breakfasts...even in the afternoon:)

Honestly, the music was as impressive as the food here, and that's telling since I thought their food was memorable. First off, the menu is available via QR code printed on each table. It had a 'trendy' vibe with a neon sort of lighting, and food came out without too much delay. Red shakshuka had a bold favour and the bread that came with it went perfectly with it. The indecisive was fun and the homemade sausage and the home fries were favour highlights. Where it lagged was the French toast with strawberry coulis and pistachio cream, because the French toast dry and we didn't eat all of it because of that. The fact that no one checked on our table during and after the meal and we had to crane our necks out to get the waitstaff attention didn't make for a great experience, either. All in all, out was s 3.5-star experience for me. I hope they continue to improve.

Seriously one of the best brunches I've ever had. My family and I visited on a Sunday morning around 1030 am and had a short ~20 min or so wait (for a family of 4, smaller groups were seated almost immediately). Service- Everyone from servers to hostesses to all wait staff were some of the friendliest individuals in the industry that I've come across- major kudos to L'Avenue for this. We dined here for my daughters birthday and this was such a pleasant and heart warming experience to kick off the celebrations. Food- Saoudi Massoub Caramelized Banana French Toast- friggin' amazing. Two large pieces topped with banana, dates and roasted walnuts and loaded with a caramel sauce- this was simply delectable and I now need to make it my mission to find something just as amazing in the US. The Indecisive- Ordered this with a bagel, sausage and lemon ricotta pancakes. Portion was incredible for the price point and there's not enough amazing things I could say about those pancakes. The cream on these just blew everything out the water. The potatoes with this dish were also super flavorful and enjoyable. Strawberry and Nutella Pancakes- Our amazing waitress surprised our table with this dish with a sparkler for my daughter's birthday. We were completely surprised and this was so cool for my kid to experience. I only regret not getting our waitress' name as I'd really like to thank her again for her kindness. Drinks- Pistachio Latte and Americano- both were worth it. The latte cup is lined with pistachios and the drink is very true to taste/not artificial with a hint of indulgence. Oreo Milkshake- this was for my birthday girl and she thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a great size. Ambiance- Super cool decor from every angle and even each individual bathroom had it's own flare and trendy aesthetic(with a toddler I found myself frequenting them often, lol). -- All in all, highly recommend this place and location. The line was quite long as we left, so that speaks volumes about their food and service.

Oh la la! Hip restaurant with great music and equally great food. The portions are rock star. If you are able to finish your food, all I gotta say is, dayum, do you have an extra stomach stowed away somewhere? Best goddamn potatoes/home fries I have ever had, on my gawd. The kids split the 3 stack of fluffy Nutella and strawberry pancakes. The sweet and savory eggs Benedict could be split between two people. They also replaced the ham with bacon, so don't be afraid to ask if you prefer bacon. The indecisive meal is a great option too and could also be split between two grown ass men, bc that is how much food it is. I was looking forward to trying the white chocolate and orange zest creme brûlée french toast as part of the indecisive meal, but alas, t'was 11 am and they were all out. Settled on the lemon ricotta pancakes instead. Everything was awesome (cue the Lego Movie theme song)! They got pretty busy fast on a Monday, so I recommend if you plan to do weekend brunch, you should prob go earlier or later. When we left around noon there was already a line of people waiting for a table.

Nice place for brunch! We all got the "indecisive" to try out the savoury and sweet options. My favorite for the sweet were the ricotta pancakes! Though the downside to this plate was that the portion for guacamole was very small. Cool decor and friendly service, though the food took some time to get out. Would definitely be worth a repeat visit!

We were greeted & seated promptly upon arrival. Our server was informative, funny and went above and beyond (specifically in accommodating to my mothers dietary restrictions). The atmosphere was great for a group setting, lively but not as loud as mount royal location. We all demolished our meals. But I have to make special note that the "Saoudi Massoub Caramelized Banana: Panko-crusted and topped with bananas, dates, walnuts, and a coconut caramel sauce" was decadent and perfect. Every flavour, every texture, was thought-out and well balanced. Ive had many L'Avenue french toasts over the years and this takes the cake! *Highly recommend *

The food portions were large. Two of us ordered one meal each, but we couldn't finish them. The truffle duck had a strong mushroom flavor. If you're a mushroom lover, you would probably enjoy this Benedict, but the mushroom flavor somewhat overshadowed the egg Benedict's egginess. Additionally, since the duck was shredded, it was easily covered by the mushroom flavour. The other dish, Bobby does Dallas, was a very filling brunch. Three scrambled eggs were mixed with cheese and ribeye steak, and the homemade barbecue sauce was full of flavor. The dish was also topped with mushrooms and onions, which made it very savory and delicious. The dish also came with pre-oiled bread, which allowed us to enjoy another way of eating by adding the ingredients onto the bread and reducing the greasy feeling. The service provided by the staff was very good. They were friendly and welcoming from seating arrangements to ordering, and always had a smile on their faces. They even asked if we wanted to order any sauces for the potatoes, which was very thoughtful. The vibes in the restaurant is very good, even the toilet is well designed so the ambiance is excellent.

Great brunch spot! Weekend spots fill up quickly so try to come early! We didn't have a wait at 9am this past Sunday. The vibes are super chill and casual. Staff is very friendly. I took a star off because we waited for 10 minutes at the door to even be acknowledged. Food was delicious! The lemon blueberry pancakes were so good and super filling. Not too sweet and not too tart. Parking can be a bit difficult to find as the street spots fill up very quickly. Cheers!

Service is not good, and even worse if you don't speak French. They let people behind us with the same size a head of us that spoke French then tried to tell us it was not the same size party...it was. Waits a long time to order, then told we couldn't order food at the same time and that we had to wait until the drinks came out. Wasn't true, and one drink never came out. The coffee was really good. The Little Piggie was not great, very dry, and nothing like SC BBQ. The indecisive was good.

Fantastic food and despite it being extremely busy, our server was wonderful, taking her time to chat with us.

I think this is their second location and glad they expanded and have two additional locations but despite that, still had to wait at least minimum 37 minutes in the line. also they were slow at turning tables as I guess they didn't want to overwhelme the kitchen.. Also they ran out of the duck egg truffles at 1 pm :( which really disappointed me as I was looking forward to that dish. What I got instead was ok.. but overpriced. Service I guess can be faster and speedier... also, they do not rush people out even after the bill has been paid... Overall worth visiting but be prepared to wait close to an hour...

When a lot of the breakfast places I located were closed for the day, L'Avenue in the Sud-Ouest area, rescued us. Especially on a gloomy and snowy Wednesday morning. As a heads up- this place gets crowded AND line forms if you so happen to miss the mark and end up coming here at 10ish+. We were actually lucky as we started our day early to tackle Antique and Vintage markets afterwards. The space is super funky, alive, colorful and their West African R&B, took L'Avenue to an entire stratosphere. It's all about fresh, healthy ingredients and creative breakfast and lunch dishes here. In my opinion, these folks make a tasty French Toast that's particularly devoid of that off-putting 'eggy' flavor usually found in them. It was thick as a muvva by the way- but boy was it was fluffy! My Smoked Salmon+Smashed Avocado on a pumpernickel toast was divine and so was the accompanying salad with like a 'mojo' (whatever that is) dressing. As were hubs' Classic Mimosa prepped with fresh squeezed oj and mine that had fresh Strawberry & Watermelon purées. Our server was smooth and delivered amazing customer service. The food was amazing and portions are literally through the roof. No cookie cutter approach here folks. Food is diverse and delicious.
