Small portion of food, but very good :) several varieties of games & the employees take the time to explain the rules.

Definitely the best choice for an evening of board games in a warm atmosphere, including an excellent menu of top quality dishes, succulent drinks and good microbrewery beers. They are not as specialized as the Randolfs in terms of board games, but the place has an undeniable charm that is superior to all the other businesses that specialize in this type of evening. The staff is ultra friendly, personable and provides excellent service every time. The musical atmosphere varies throughout the evening and is part of the charm of the place.Very well located in St-Denis.Totally recommended!!!

With a down to earth elegance that fits the area, Colonel Moutarde reflects the passion and care of its employees. From an amazing menu you wouldn’t realize is mostly vegetarian, to the classy and cosy decor, there’s already a lot to love, but the addition of board games that are expertly chosen for you is the cherry on top. It really feels like a British pub, with some good games.Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious options, not just salad

Anticipating a comprehensive review after sampling the food and cocktails.Initially, my visit was focused on enjoying a drink and engaging in some board games. The experience surpassed expectations. The staff exuded friendliness and warmth, with a special mention for the board games animator who took the time to guide through various games, offering intriguing suggestions. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between cool and cozy, making it an ideal spot for those chilly winter nights.Worth noting, the convenience of accessibility from the Mont Royal Metro station adds to the overall appeal.Looking forward to the culinary experience and updating the review accordingly.

I despise QR code menus. As does most people. Service good, a little ott. Good selection and drinks expensive and you feel a little pressured to buy more by the talk you receive at the beginning of sitting down. Great service on games, the guys are knowledgeable. Anglo Friend’y!!

The Mac n cheese was decent but they have no business making pizza. Also didn’t appreciate all the rules about playing games. I guess if you’re planning a game night and would like to pay to play AND have to buy food and drink and then get mansplained about game rules, go for it.

Cribbage with dinner? Surprise find! In addition to delicious entrees and light-hearted conversation, the atmosphere is fun and delightful with the addition of board games.

Pros:-Nice place to play board games with friends. They have a good variety of games (even though not as much as other board games places in Montreal).-For 5$, you have access to all of the games available, and ask questions to one of the employees that will help you pick a game depending on your mood-The tempeh salad tasted great, I loved it and wasn't expensive.-The mocktails are original, and delicious

Always a great place to have fun with friends while playing boardgames. Great ambiance, the food and service are both great.Personally I like it better than Randolph. The only thing is you cannot reserve a table but it does give a fair chance for everyone to get a table.
