I went to Trèfles on a Thursday evening with 2 of my friends, we were sitting at the bar. We discovered this little pub thanks to Remy-pierre Paquin who sometimes promotes it on the radio! And what a great discovery! Quality and friendly service, wonderful atmosphere and decor! A great place to celebrate or have a good time. I would like to thank our waitress Marie-Alex and Marc-André for serving us and guiding us in discovering the Pub! Incredible choice of beer of Quebec origin. Let me suggest the tip+top Burger which is sickeningly packed with flavor and just wow! I will definitely return for other occasions. 1000x thanks for the service!

Friendly and accommodating staff, nice variety of drinks, and more than acceptable food for a pub.One of my go-tos in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve.Parking: No dedicated parking, and the surrounding streets can be busy... If you are able, public or active transportation is often preferred.

OPINION 2024: I have been attending this establishment for a little over five years. I always liked the place, I went there with a smile on my face at the idea of tasting my little old fashioned, the best in the neighborhood as far as I'm concerned. For your information, I have never tipped less than 20% and I consider that I have always been courteous and pleasant in my interactions with your employees.That being said, my last three visits (January/February 2024) were particularly unpleasant. Almost no customers in the bar and impossible to get service! I went straight to the counter and when the bartender saw me approaching, he went near the kitchen. I came back with a friend the following evening, same observation. The employees seem to have NO interest in serving customers.I miss the old staff. Your current employees seem to be deeply disturbed when they are questioned (even after ten minutes of chilling on their cell phones). It looks like a money laundering front because the service is so absent.I leave my old review below, to allow you to see the nice difference in quality established after 3 years.You were my favorite bar :(2021 REVIEW: Not only is the staff great (friendly, answers questions and suggests wonderful choices), but the food is incredible. Special mention to the whiskey mayo.

Great atmosphere, good drinks, no waiting line. I ordered a plate of nachos which they gladly accommodated to my preference. It was delicious and it almost tasted like it was put in a wood oven. I’m happy with my experience and I’m probably coming back soon.

We went here for weekend brunch and to be honest the service was a little slow. In addition, I had to hook up with the waitress for basic things like salt, cream or sugar, which I find quite ordinary. The apple and beacon French toast was good. The coffee was average. It seems that the service is better than usual so I am willing to give them a second chance.
