Delicious food, amazing service, and wonderful and friendly chef! The food was prepared with much care and was exceptionally fresh. I really loved the curry bread that was offered when I went, and it was overall a lovely experience. Highly recommend!

Dinner was excellent here! The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. Very small and quiet. There were only two people running the place so service was a bit slow, but dinner was great. The server was very encouraging towards myself as an anglophone that wanted to practice speaking French.

First time ever coming into Montreal and came to the right place for French Cuisine. Arthur at the reception and as a waiter was very polite and helpful with translating the menu for me and my parents. Julian the chef was just phenomenal, was very generous and hit the taste buds right on point. Definitely recommend this place if you want to have fine dining in Montreal.

We visited Les Oiseaux back in June 2023 and we still think about it weekly so I'm taking a minute to write a review. If you're reading this and considering a visit, the foccacia bread alone is enough to drop whatever you're doing and get a table. It is without question the best piece of bread I've ever had.Everything from appetizers to entrees to dessert was incredible. We especially loved the entrees; I highly recommend the venison. We sat outside and brought a bottle of wine. We had perfect weather, our server was great and very attentive, and I can't think of a single complaint. If you have just one night in Montreal, eat here.

Excellent food, table d'hôte $95 for more than 7 courses but in too small a quantity which does not sustain, on the other hand delicious. The height of insult, he offers you tea or coffee at the end of the meal which is not includedat $5. Small ordinary place where we will only pass through like the birds. I will add to the response of the owner who does not recognize his customers and whom I now consider an idiot. We were a group of 8 people, I paid my bill myself by debit and gave a generous tip. If he has a bad-paying clientele and accuses the good ones, that's another reason not to go back.

From the festive decor to the warm welcome and delicious food, every detail was perfectly orchestrated to create a memorable evening. A big congratulations to the whole team for making this celebration so special and magical!

Unfortunately a bad food experience in Montreal. The food tasted over salty & reheated. Mains were expensive. You can find much better quality meals for lower prices in the

For the price we pay per item i give it 2 stars. Just came from the resto . I ordered the lamb and it was flavorless and missing salt, A bit dry as well. Someone ordered a hen and it was too salty. We all agreed that it was not the best french food we ate or maybe it was a bad Day. We also ordered terrine as appetizer, it was a very very tiny portion for 19$. We felt ripped off. The place has amazing reviews so maybe it was a bad day !?!?Giving 3 stars for the service because we had to ask someone to open the bottle of wines after 20 minutes of sitting down. Also after serving the food they came to ask if everything is going well when there was bones left on the plates. A little bit too late. The staff was nice and friendly but I expected more since the resto wasn't even that busy.

Food and service was amazing! It wasn't the busiest since we came on a Monday evening, so I can only speak of an experience where the crowd was small. With that said, we had the opportunity to sit at the corner by the window (best seat there, IMO) and the atmosphere felt very cute and calming.. with a little bit of class. Both the waiter and the chef regularly checked up on us, making sure everything was okay, and they both had a very pleasant and sincere charm to them.As for the food itself, each plate came to us at a good pace. We got the foie gras to start (which was excellent) followed by the lamb shank and the beef steak, both done at just the right level of temperature and seasoning.Definitely nothing to complain about, thank you for the experience!
