There is so much negative messaging in this place. Restrictions and negativity. If you stay beyond an hour, there is a sign that says that you need to spend 5$ per hour after that per person. Who puts up a sign line this???!!!!! A dozen such signs.

The best bread in town not to mention the croissants! No more supermarket bread. I source locally and create jobs! It's so good to have a bakery near you!

The customer service (rudeness, attitude, etc) fails to meet north-american quality standards. The croissants aren't fresh either.

I used to come there for more than a decade but recently I got utterly upset with the attitude and customer service the owner had demonstrated. She made me feel embarassed that I spoke English. I am confused and disapounted.

We had been meaning to check this cafe out and so glad we finally did! The decor is very inviting and they have a nice variety of pastries. We ordered the chausson pommes - which was the best we've ever had! Highly recommend.

A bakery with excellent organic bread (we love the baguettes), delicious pastries (croissants, pain au chocolat and especially almond croissants!). Special mention to the frangipane king cakes! You will enjoy trying it.

Cakes, tarts, classic French pastriesThe granny clafoutis baguette is often considered the best in Montreal
The place is really cute, however I have never seen someone so rude serving! I y that the economy isn’t going well but there is no reason why she is allowed to talk to us as if we were trash!! We are the paying customers last time I checked! Maybe this lady should take up some customer service courses! The cheese and ham croissants had almost no cheese and a slice of ham for 6$ there was nothing wow about it…dissapointing!

They only accept debit or cash and the only sign they have about this is at the cashier. Would have loved to try the food but couldn’t pay with credit so I went somewhere else. Also even after you tell them you don’t speak french, they will keep speaking french to you even though they do speak English as well. Not coming back.

We love coming to Boulangerie Notre Dame, especially for their organic bread. ??? The owners, Sylvie & Christophe, are wonderful people who take excellent care of their customers. ?Try the Miche Blanche bread--it's delicious!

Had a gourmand here. It was good but not as special as people make it seem. Maybe I came in at the wrong time but the place was dark and smelled like ammonia. It was a saturday morning which is strange to have it seem so lifeless. Might drop in again just to be more fair maybe.
