The food was good, but the portions were a bit small. Our server finished their shift so a new server was assigned to our table, but they took forever to came to us.The donuts were pretty good, and I really like the atmosphere! The decor was also really cute. Please note, they don’t accept outside food!

I have frequented the McKiernan restaurant on several occasions and I can say without hesitation that it is a must-see address in Montreal. The food is always delicious, with fresh and flavorful dishes that are sure to please. The service is excellent, with attentive and efficient staff. Had high hopes- was disappointed. The rolls were standard, chicken croquettes under seasoned and was misled by the "meat special". Thought we had a choice of roast beef or steak.... just got a tomahawk for $140- with 2 yorkshire puds... no sides (no veg, no potatoes, nothing)... sorry, was not worth the price at all. Would not go back, would not recommend. Just nothing special about this place- and at $140 served with nothing.... a yorkshire pudding costs cents to make. Adding some fries or roasted potatoes or a simple veg would be normal. Big NO from me.
