First time went to eat at this restaurant tonight and it was finger licking good. The skin on the chicken was crispy and flavourful, the kids wouldn’t stop eating the salad ( they never eat salad). They kept asking for more chicken and fries ! Tried other Portuguese restaurants and this is our new fav place! The guys are nice too ! They treated our kids to something sweet. Please don’t change a thing when it comes to your recipes !

I was one of the first customers to this restaurant when it opened many years ago and I always enjoyed the food here. I have been going there dozens of times over the years. However, the original owner has since retired and in the past several months things have changed dramatically, and for the worse. The food is still good; nicely grilled chicken and other meats and fish, with fabulous fries but the service is absolutely horrible! In the last 4 times I went there, each time with a different guest and each time hoping things would get better, they didn't. Here's a few examples of how we were treated by one particular waiter: he scolded us for sitting on the outdoor terrace without first coming into the restaurant even though he saw us from the door at the back of the patio and other staff saw us through the window. Another time this same waiter told my guest when she went into the restaurant to use the washroom that she wasn't polite for not saying hello to him. When I asked him if he'd like us to leave he just smirked at me. He continued in this manner, making snide remarks when he served the wine. Only when another waiter took over did things improve otherwise we were going to leave. Finally, on the one time I ordered by phone, when I arrived to pick it up he made me wait an extra 30 minutes because he said I came late for the pickup. It's unfortunate that this particular guy is ruining the experience of eating at this restaurant. I used to enjoy it and now I won't go back again and neither will any of my friends or acquaintances.

Small cozy corner, food was good, the service was amazing, perfect for a small party or gathering. Prices are very reasonable.
Cozy little portuguese restaurant. We had the grilled sardines, calamari and chicken sandwich with chips. Everything was tasty but chips were abit overcooked and bitter.Even though the restaurant was full, the food still came out in a timely manner.

We love this restaurant normally (5 stars), but last night we had our meal delivered and frankly it seemed like it came from a different restaurant. The ribs were overcooked and just not that good. Even the rice was off, although the roasted potatoes and chicken were fine. So go there by all means but think twice about getting a delivery ...
