Our favorite tea store in Montreal! Always stopping by when we are in town. Great quality teas and tea sets. It's sad that they stopped serving tea and food inside as it was such an amazing experience.

Very disappointed to see that they no longer have the tea ceremony service. The tea ceremony service is what made this place unique, now its just another tea store like every other. Unfortunately the advertisement for this place (both on Google AND on their shop windows) hasnt been updated despite it being 3 years that they no longer offer tea services. We traveled from up north and paid for parking in old Montreal only for us to realize the tea ceremony experience is no longer available (despite advertisement to the contrary), so we left. This place really used to be great, If they bring back the tea ceremony service I'll obviously change my review. But to be totally truthful, I really think this place will go out of business since it no longer offers something unique, (and many people are disappointed as you can tell by the reviews). Its really too bad because it was truly great before. Its really unfortunate.

Sadly, they no longer serve sit-down tea or snacks of any kind. Very disappointed.

Recommended to lovers of fine tea! Was pleasantly surprised to discover this tea shop. I wasn't expecting it. Run by Mr. and Mrs. Lee from Hong Kong. An assortment of tea ware and good quality loose leaf Chinese teas. Bought some fresh spring Cui Ming green tea, some Ali Shan Oolong and some Jin Jun Mei from them and they were all very good and priced reasonably. Not cheap though. The Cui Ming especially impressed me. Bought some great inexpensive cups from them. Didn't get a long look at their tea ware but seemed extensive with options for any budget. I only ever knew about Camellia sinensis tea house before but I will definitely stop by here too any time I am in Montreal!

Visited here a long time ago and it still was one of the best memories I've had in Montreal to date. It transports you out of Montreal, which is the real magic in the experience. Would recommended to any visitor. Great teas and service!

Very good. I approve, I got a piggy bank for a deal from what it originally was, and it is super cool pottery. Very friendly very good.

I have never had such an unpleasant experience in a place of business before. The staff or owners are extremely rude and seem to treat their customers as potential criminals. I dont know if they have had problems with people before or what but it is no excuse to treat people who would like to give you their buisness like less than dogs. Who ever owns this place need to take stock of their customer service because they clearly are not meant to be serving the public.

I've been very curious about this place for months - stopped by tonight to take a look as we were looking for authentic chinese decor + dinnerware for a new restaurant opening. We asked if we could take some photos to show our partners but the older man was extremely rude and was adamant about us not taking any photos, from there he followed right behind us the entire time. Felt extremely unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Will take our business elsewhere.

Amazing tea house restaurant! I would definitely come back here, a tea fanatic's dream tea house. They make there own unique mixes of tea when drinking there. They also sell tea leaves to bring home. Really nice and unique atmosphere but I was kinda scared to make any noise because of how tranquil it was in there.
